Pretty much agree with everything you said. I don't think Haye will take any stupid risks he will opt to outbox Bellew like he was doing using the jab to the body he will eventually create an opening hurt Bellew and stop him late.

I'm predicting a close points victory or late TKO for Haye, setting up Haye Bellew 3 and another great payday for these old showmen. It's certainly the best option for either of them as their careers come to an end. Can't see any reason whatsoever for anyone to want to see either up against likes of Joshua, Usyk, etc.

2nd prediction, it's not going to earn near the amount of money their first encounter did.

Haye will play it safe, not risk blowing anything out, box intelligently, Bellew will gas around the 6th, Haye stops him in 9, or sooner if he can land clean.

    Please no.

I don't really have an opinion on either, but I don't want talks of a 'trilogy'....

Nor do i want suggestions of Joshua v Haye.

Bellew will be KO'd so violently, he won't want a trilogy.

And are you just going to ignore the whole Achilles blowout thing? Had that not happened, he would have delivered on his promise. Sometimes **** happens in Boxing, that was one of those occasions.

The truth is this is what Haye's career has come down to: He needs a win over a domestic CW guy like Bellew in order to setup a trilogy that is completely meaningless on a grander scale. But Haye is broke so he needs the paydays.

I don’t think haye can afford to play it safe. The longer it goes the more chance of injury. This long fight stuff he says is talk imo. Cause he is sharper this time round I belive he thinks landing enough early will finish it. Whether he can do that is the question. But haye in a long fight seems unrealistic. If he wins he hurts tony and blasts him out fairly early. Which is what u would expect. If belles manages to drag it out, that’s bad news for haye I think

I guess Haye if he can hold up. Bellew offers nothing interesting outside of this fight for the future. I sort of hope Haye scores a spectacular knock out early and get's himself back in the mix at heavyweight. But that seems like wishful thinking given Haye's lack of durability. He could injure himself at a weigh-in.

I'm torn over this fight. On the one hand Haye is a far superior boxer/fighter, with more power. On the other hand he's slowed down and declined like all athlete boxers do, and they tend to fall of the performance cliff too. Add to this the fact his body is breaking down at an alarming and persistent rate, and I fear the worst. That said, if his body lasts as long as it's needed for the win and Haye picks his punches and shows half-decent timing I think he gets the win. His speed has gone - and with it I suspect some of his power - but his timing (if he's had decent sparring) can be much, much better than the first fight. If it is, I think a late stoppage or comfortable points win is within his compass.

But boy, how far has he fallen from his peak that I think he can old man a win against Bellew? He would have removed Tony's head from his shoulders as recently as the version who fought Chisora....
