No, you're behind the times. Paedo is a sexual orientation. But people often use the term "paedo" loosely, ie. to describe anyone who might prey on the legally underaged, or has form for doing so. I'm not saying there's levels. I'm just saying Paedo used properly means someone who is exclusively sexually attracted to children.

Some child molesters are not sexually attracted to children, they are just nasty *******s and pervs. They objectify whatever they like, children just happen to be among their victims. I thought it was common knowledge. they're both sick ****s, but there is a difference between a molester and a paedo. the difference is clear in their definitions, in fact, I think the definition of molester actually says "...especially women and children"

It started when you asked what I meant by "proper paedo". I'll stand by my explanations. Proper paedo = paedo. If I'd had said just "paedo" to begin with, they'd probably be no confusion, to be fair. Anyway, the original point was to do with the fact that paedo is being scientifically recognized or regarded as some sort of "sexual orientation". And if people have a human right to express their sexual orientations that raises some concerns surely.
I was on a night out once, we were in a kebab shop and two emaciated, diseased looking fudge ferrets came in and started properly snogging each other while they were waiting.
