He'd just miss the top 10 for me. Tho circumstancial and incredibly unlucky i cannot get past the fact that he didn't/couldn't fight the best or second best heavyweight of the era's. It is impossible to say either was the best fighter and both stood tall over the rest. Shame really.

Agreed. Michael has a suspect win over Weaver, a draw where he should have lost a tight one and not oodles more. Page has more in the W column and tho he has his losses he was out there facing top ten opponents often.

Dokes was plenty talented as well tho. In his case it was coke.

    Fair enough

It does suck by the time the big skilled heavyweights came along Joshua fury wilder ....wlad was pushing 40 near retirement

Would have been much better if those men were around 5-6 years earlier when wlad was still in his physical prime

I think the incredible effort he gave at age 41 against Joshua showed what he was capable of doing to a skilled super heavyweight had he been in his prime

Page really did get robbed of a title shot vs Holmes

Holmes dropped the ball on that one

Would have been a very close fight

Yes if only. His effort vs Joshua was excellent for sure and but am waiting patiently to see exactly what we have in Joshua. Interesting times coming.

At that exact time it would have been a fascinating matchup. Holmes had a way of really riling up his opponents (bad blood with so many) and Page was certainly rearing to go. He actually would have came in ready. Tough fight.
