Maybe he should strongly consider ditching that wheeler dealer promoter he's with. And go over to the A side, and sign with Al Haymon. Better. Get down on his hands and knees and apologise to each bomb squad member , for the negative comments he said about Deontay. Lol.

Or he could just fight Pulev and if he wins which I think he will, then fight AJ in a huge UK fight making several times what Wilder does as he'd be guaranteed 25% as the mandatory.

How much did Ortiz get to fight Wilder 500K? Which is the best any Wilder opponent can expect even if they are a mandatory. Stiverne got 506K, Breazeale will likely make the same. Why would Whyte join Haymon to make peanuts?

Whyte don't want that rematch with the bodybuilder any time soon. Its the cash out fight, and the end of the road for him. He thought he could sneak down the wbc route, and maybe steal a belt from Deontay. But the bomb squad seen through his deception, and put old grandpa Ortiz on guard to stop that from happening.

Hidden in your comment it sounds like you think Whyte beats Wilder. Hmm.

Seriously though, I don’t know why he wouldn’t fight Whyte. It’s very good money. There’s no point cutting off your nose to spite your face.

@Badbot ... I looked on Boxrec to see what was said and

Whyte/Chisora it says was a WBC HW title eliminator

2016-12-10 : Dillian Whyte 246¼ lbs beat Dereck Chisora 250¼ lbs by SD in round 12 of 12
    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Dillian_Whyte_vs._Dereck_Chisora

Whyte/Helenius was for vacant WBC silver title

2017-10-28 : Dillian Whyte 247½ lbs beat Robert Helenius 248½ lbs by UD in round 12 of 12

    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Dillian_Whyte_vs._Robert_Helenius

Whyte/Brown was a defence of the WBC silver title

2018-03-24 : Dillian Whyte 254 lbs beat Lucas Browne 264 lbs by KO at 0:37 in round 6 of 12

I guess from that, Whyte won a WBC eliminator against Chisora and has had 3 fights since then?

I would place a queens ransome on Ortiz to KO Whyte. Hearn & Whyte know it hence their displeasure/protests
