alot of guys around thinking they can pounce on a past prime golovkin, okay then, good luck. charlos better sit down for a bit, BJS is the only one who can compete with the kazak beast.
Great work by GGG tonight!! Liquidated his opponent with ease. I would of drug it out another round or 2, just for the fans, but 2nd round KO is awesome.
He has declined, for sure. But...if you stand in the pocket with him and trade, you will get knocked out. You might have a better chance now because he's less accurate and slower, but if he hits you it's over.
you know what will happen to those fools if they stepped in the ring with ggg willie. only one man is capable of taking those belts at hes under warren. anyone else is pure biltong.
It all goes to show is that many of the so called upcoming forces arent really in the same league of the Kazak beast. they are inferior even in their physical primes...
He's definitely on the downward slope but if he catches anyone with a sequence of shots like the ones he finished Vanes off with they're going to be in a world of trouble.
lets be honest though serge, alot of confident fighter will go back into there quilts or under their beds now ggg has shown a tiny bit of what he was once capable off.
Right before the start of the fight Vanessa couldn't stop touching gloves. He was just too matey matey (not that it would have made a difference mind you). It was pretty obvious he just came to lie down. He might have won the 1st round but he was just shoe shining his punches. GGG didn't even get out of 1st gear in the 1st.
As Willie Monroe Jr said earlier and Serge has said numerous times in the past. It took GGG looking human against Special K for Jacobs to find his plums, and it took GGG looking human against Special K and Jacobs for Clenelo to find his. And it's taken GGG looking human x 2 or 3 for all these LMWs to find the plums to move up to 160 and stop draining themselves.
The so called talented slick ones wont ever find there plums now, they have a maximum of 2 years before ggg is completely past prime, if they dont fight him now, they will never have that scalp, and the divisions are only getting weaker so there resumes will be totally pitiful before they themslves retire.
GGG is the slickest fighter in the game. Line them up I say, the sooner the better. Time to pay the fiddler
Gennady has been the opposite of a "matched soft" fighter in his last two bouts, and in both his opponents used every asset and tool they could to negate and or avoid as much incoming from Gennady as possible. Jacobs more or less boxed a perfect 12 round bout and was only seriously caught once where as Alvarez laid on his back foot and opted to counter and languish against the ropes some and deflecting as much as possible. Not really a lot of fighters out there that can duplicate what either Canelo or Jacobs managed...
