I love how Golovkin wins the first feel 'em out round and crushes the guy like an aluminum can in the second but people are saying he looked like garbage.

He's done good for himself, but there is no denying he isn't the type to want to test his limits. He's a comformist.

lol well we know why that is. G fans backed themselves into a corner making excuses about why he struggled vs Canelo. Now he looked Prime tonight but fans need to keep telling themselves he's old and shot so they have a built in excuse for the Canelo rematch.

no, he still beats all except the elite.
just rewatch the couple rds and concentrate on ggg's reaction time when vanes feints or shoots straight shots, then compare it to 3 fights ago... canelo will not be able to miss, and hes one of the few that wont be afraid to throw a lot at him. ggg's time at the top doesnt last 2 more fights.

if i was oscar, i would not wait, the right guy could upset ggg and canelo will have let another legacy defining opportunity slip by.
im only basing my argument on what i saw in ggg-canelo 1, and where their individual trajectory would place them in september. ggg is still no gimme for anyone else, but now they got hope.
