I remember a few of Joshua’s fights, where Haye was commentating, and Haye couldn’t help himself, saying he would punish Joshua for this and that. He was probably selling a potential fight, but still.

    Agree

Haye is done at the upper level

He may be able to keep fighting C level opponents to keep money coming in, but he’s done at the upper level

Great fighter, came out of retirement ultimately because he’s skint. It’s a shame and ruined his legacy.

Haye may fight again but that's the last serious money he'll ever get. Best for him to hang them up.

god knows how Haye got through camp, they must a wheeled him to the gym. its all a bit of a joke really and some people should be ashamed know he was in this state. I cant see how Haye could justify coming back now, he would need saving from himself. I never thought he was the type of guy to put himself in this position, he seemed to smart and calculating. surly his money problems cant be so bad he needs to risk his health and humiliate himself like this.

That belatedly released and highly edited minute of him sparring fringe man Malik Scott should have rang some alarm bells.

The win over valuev was very impressive given what he was up against

And his knock out of John Ruiz was classic

Very unique and obviously a gifted fighter who had speed and power, both in spades. Such a great finisher when he had his opponent hurt

Pretty much Martinez vs Cotto all over again. Shot fighter with no legs dominated by smaller guy.

He was never that great to begin with. He never beat any really top fighters, and struggled to get the W against some of the fighters he did beat. His career was definitely a bit smoke and mirrors. But as you say, its good he's going to retire now.

It's all right to be brave when you're physically the superior fighter, but against dangerous foes he always took the easy way out.

Have you seen his Wlad and Valuev fights?
The guy should have had his purse witheld for so much negativity.

Finally, the steroids he took for years to get to HW destroyed his ligaments and left him in no physical shape to fight, but he still went on and stole public's money the last 2 times with his disgusting press antics.

Truely sad... if only Hayes could have turned back the clock to his prime destructive performance's against DeAmori and Grjgarrgr one last time...

Did Haye phuck your missus or something?

Haye was a big cruiserweight/small heavyweight, was out weighted by every heavyweight opponent other than Bellew. Yeah he was faster than almost everyone he fought but that was because he was smaller than almost everyone he fought.

Wlad fight was disappointing, partly due to Haye being unable to change his normal counter punching style and partly due to Wlad be unable to or unwilling the close the show against such an over matched opponent.

Yeah he was negative vs Valuev but he fought most of that fight with one hand as he broke his right hand early in the fight.

Steroids? He was never caught, wouldn't surprise me if he did use PED's but it's pure speculation on your part.

Anyone who thought this comeback was anything but a money grab deserves to be duped. He retired due to injuries was told by doctors to quit. He only came back because he lost all his money in Dubai and the fact he fought 2 nobodies and Bellew was a clear indication he was just looking for easy paydays. No way was he ever going anywhere near Joshua, had he believed he'd had anything left he would of been calling Joshua out from the start and he never showed any sign of really wanting Joshua.
