I think there were two reasons he didn't sit behind the jab. Firstly, there's no guarantee his body would've held out for the 12 rounds even if that's all he attempted. Secondly, he was rolling the dice on a big knockout victory putting him back in the HW mix.

Should have cleared over 5 million for these 2 fights.

He has no need to ever limp around a ring again.

since he got beat by a lhw also ran, i think we can assume he knew he only had a punchers chance.

The official Matchroom line is "He said he was 100% fit"

That's the sort of line that should be delivered by a guy with a spinning bowtie and a red nose.

Depends how big his debts were after his failed business venture in Dubai. He was arrested there for bouncing a check and having outstanding debts. Dubai is not a place where you want to get into debt, it's not a civil matter but a criminal matter you can get jailed indefinitely for unpaid debts and their debt collectors are known to be ruthless and uncompromising, they won't accept partial payments or restructuring of debts or payments.

Also exciting, can talk a bit and looked good.

Thats all you need to be PPV..

I feel sorry for the man, a bitter ex wife sick of him rocking the casbah in more than one way forced this upon us all. Many a person bought into Haye defying medical logic with his 2.0 bollocks.

If you could erase the Bellew defeats, Ggggggggg, and Di Internet Boxer fights he could have retired with not a lot to prove.

    Sad end.

    Money eh.

I'm sure he can muddle through the rest of his living days by steering clear of Dubai then. Not like he's gonna get extradited over some unpaid invoices.
