Anyone who fights GGG would be insane if survival wasnt in the game plan. Both lost to GGG but were competitive as they are both elite. GGG could not just blast through them like he does everyone else, punching bags dont hit back. Which is why he did not go for the knockout vs Canelo, sharp countering.

Its easy to appear like you've lost a step, when in actuality you are just stepping up your competition as opposed to simply stepping on them.

It's a combination of everything. First no fighter at 36 can be physically at their best. Its biologically impossible.

Second, GGG sends Lara to the grave.

Didn't people say that prior to the Curtis stevens fight, prior to the canelo fight ?
Canelo literally landed a perfect fully loaded right hand, GGG kept coming.

Triple G would destroy any version of Lara who would run for dear life.

Triple G is slipping. His speed and timing were off last night, but being that he was preparing for Canelo, I can see maybe his motivation dipped a little for a guy who was expected to be rolled over (and was) but despite the flashy finish I saw some holes in Triple G last night. 36 is 36 and how many amateur bouts did he have around 400. He’s got some mileage on those wheels. Still he is a pleasure to watch and his post fight interviews are the best in the sport lol.

Did Golovkin throw power punches or body punches? He was too afraid and stuck with this weak ass, pity pat-inaccurate jab all night. Even when Canelo was on the ropes. It’s really shows the killer you guys all claim is only confident against lessor fighters like Vanes who was off the couch.

GGG is for the most part the same fighter he was 3 years ago. Everyone thinks he slowed down considerably but in reality we can't expect him to dominate and KO world class opponents that bring a challenge like, Jacobs, Canelo, even Kell Brook in the beginning rounds. The point is, if he still comes out with the W those are huge wins. He can KO a gatekeeper/fringe contender on any given day though.

Is it really that clear? I think it might not be the case.
Golovkin is 36 but his style never revolved around his physical talents, with the exception of power. The same power that he clearly still has.
Jacobs and Alvarez were the two best opponents Golovkin has faced, and all of sudden hes declining?

I would reserve judgment till Dervyachenko/Charlo.

Lara presents a different style, different challenge. No biggie beating a inactive guy who never fought in the 160 pound division before. But Let's focus on that same guy rocking GGG doe?

No point in going backwards. GGG is not prime anymore, and Vanes was an inactive fighter. Lol

Its easier said than done, GGG has to prove it despite what you say, and he never wanted to fight Lara.
