    Abel and Tom keep talking about Murata. If the Canelo rematch does not happen, they want Murata in Japan to get some cash.

    Murata is a good fighter, maybe even very good.

    I rate the bloke highly, probably higher than Derevyanchenko tbh.

    I wouldn't complain about this fight at all.

    I'd be good with this. Murata's a very good fighter, a world titleholder, and a legit top 10 guy at the weight.

    You're right, the Japanese market will produce very good money for GGG to come to Tokyo but it is still a pittance compared to Canelo. Why would GGG fight anyone other than Canelo when that fight will earn him more than all of his other fights combined (minus their first match-up)? Guys seem to forget that these guys are in it for the money. GGG has earned it. He would be a fool to fight someone else for 1/10th the purse.

    I agree with you but I reckon it is possible that he’s the type to cut off his nose to spite his face. Maybe he feels he’s rich enough and simply won’t give Clenelo the satisfaction?
    It’ll be very frustrating and interesting to see how this all shakes out over the next couple of months.
