Why because he got robbed against N'Dam in the first fight? Interesting logic...

Can you post a comment where you don't come across like an utter clown? Just one?

Murata is better - robbed badly the first time, clear dominant stoppage the second time.

Hes a world titlist and has veto power over any potential WBA mandatories.
    In other words....yes.
    The MW titlists are
    GGG
    BJS
    Murata
    Charlo

As for Murata as an opponent.

I like GGG going to Tokyo.
But it would sink the HBO budget

Murata is the far more proven pro than DChenko but still too green to enhance GGGS legacy.

He should focus on Alvarez, BJ and Mallow.
Even Boo Boo does more for Genna than DChenko and his one good win and pathetic beat down of 45 yo legless Soliman

I saw a pic of Ishiida from bout 11 mos ago....
He looked in good shape and about 180 lbs.
Would be a GREAT DOMESTIC FIGHT and help build a GGG fight up

This. I'm the biggest Murata fan on here, but I'd rather see Murata fight Derevyanchenko first or BJS. Though those fights wouldn't really prepare him for GGG. I've always said this, BJS is the best fight for Murata, while GGG is a bad fight for him. Murata has seen countless BJS types in the amateur. That's why he dominated N'dam so easily in both their fights. GGG would bring that pro boxing pressure on him and probably would stop him. Murata hits pretty hard but not hard enough to shake GGG off him. Not to mention that Murata's main defense is his guard. I don't trust guard defense, even though his defense has looked it cannot be penetrated. Head movement seems to give GGG more issues. I feel like GGG would crush Murata's guard.

Another fight in his opponents back yard. GGG is the king of this.

Honestly the fact that I like this fight means it won't be happening, not before Canelo any way.

If Canelo fights Spike in September, then expect GGG vs Aleem or someone of that caliber.

Anyways.. I would give GGG a lot of credit for beating Murata, which I'd also favor him quite a lot to do. Murata isn't a mindless come forward brute. He's extremely technical, but he's clearly at his best going forward. I don't see any come forward fighter beating GGG. That's why I also think Abel wants this fight, stylistically the best match up.

A lot of people don't know who Murata is but he dominated N'dam in both fights way better than Quillin and Lemieux put together. N'dam outboxed Quillin and lemieux for a good portion and their knock downs bailed them out, while N'dam won maybe 2-3 rounds in both his fights against Murata combined. And the rounds he won were due to Murata not throwing enough and learning about the pros, he didn't outbox Murata. Murata easily outboxed and showed N'dam wasn't even close to his level.

Theydontboxnomore is usually a good poster but he clearly did not watch those fights. Even the WBA president had Murata winning 9-3. I had it 10-2, after the 4th round it was just Murata punching N'dam across the ring making him go flying everywhere lol.

He actually posted his disbelief following the aftermath of the first fight-along with everyone else who watched the fight.

He's probably just trying to trigger the GGG fans then lol. Don't really blame him, they have been going crazy over this Vanes win.

The more zealous of 'em, yeah. I'm a fan of GGG, too...But those two years of inactivity are a hard thing to ignore.
