Hearns chin wouldn't last to allow his "special gifts" to be a factor.

Without the iron chin, movement and power aren't enough.
And Hearns had a poor boxing IQ.
A guy with a glass jaw gotta use his legs, feigns and counter opportunity.
Hearns would get hurt early, go directly into a firefight and get Liakovich'd

    Hagler, Monzon, Toney, BHop SRL....
    They could beat this GGG.

But not the 30 yo who pummeled ouma with jetlag and the flu

You seem to be confusing "sexual" prime with "athletic" prime.

No doubt BUT even though they are savvier due to the level of experience we all know PHYSICALLY the 28-year-old is superior to the 36-year-old. In other words, a 28-year-old GGG beats a 36-year-old GGG, imo.

Jermall Charlo moved up. Lets see if Golovkin has balls or not.

I tend to believe that with a reflex fighter like Roy Jones. He was defensively flawed, but his reflexes more than made for it. Once he reached his mid thirties ,his reflexes slowed and he wasn't nearly as dominate. A 28 year old Jones toys with a 36 year old Jones. G on the other hand uses great technique. I won't bet on the 28 year old to beat the 36 year old. G doesn't rely on speed to get him to where he needs to be. He cuts, off the ring, he has the ability to time his opponents, has an above average chin and hits hard as hell.

That is a good point as well. I just feel the old school fighters were fighting a lot more. Henry Armstrong fought 26 fights in one year. That's more than twice a month. Your body has no time to recover or heal. A year like that can end peoples careers. It wasn't uncommon for guys to fight 8-10 times a year.

Check out Harry Greb's fight schedule on boxrec. He fought 54 times in 1919!

How fighter A does against fighter B has no bearing on fighter C.

Yeah he'd go from Pittsburgh to Buffalo and back to Pittsburg and fight 5 times that week. One of the reasons he's considered an ATG.

Yes, I agree completely. It's amazing how those guys fought so often, and even more amazing that some managed to fight at a high level into their late 30s. No contemporary fighter compares in this regard IMHO.

Charlo beat a cripple and the haters claim he is the greatest of all time! Can you imagine if Golovkin had beaten a cripple?! Then Pee Wee Herman? Jacobs just fought a jr. middleweight, when he is a cruiserweight, yet he was almost beaten by a Jr. Middleweight! Don't hear anything about that.......................Golovkin looked like he was even stronger than ever! His combination was every strong and quick, a knockout combination........................he is still the top middleweight........................he said he would fight the winner of Charlo/Jacobs...................

Actually, Free Testerone (the main hormone for muscle development) begins to dive around 26 in majority of males.
