There has been such an out cry from the media and boxing experts about Haye retiring, that I believe no one will accept Haye on a big network again in a PPV fight.

And I heard today Fury has signed to fight Briggs in September so that fight is off for Haye

Conned the PPV mugs. It's £20 ffs not a grand. Was a decent little night of boxing.

Always liked him as a fighter but not as a man. That was even sad for me last night, so I can only imagine how some of his proper fans who are slightly emotionally invested felt. Legacy ruined as a result of no pre nup (if true) Ouch!!

His Achilles was definitely still injured last night wasn’t it? Credit to Haye for not mentioning it when, unlike his toe, I wouldn’t blame him.

The fight was like watching an aging, injured lion getting killed by a hyena.

I think his legs being so weak was the reason he couldn't take the shots anymore. And strangely he couldn't pivot/roll with the shots like in the first. I think another factor in the first fight was that bellew gassed as soon as the achilles snapped, whereas now (post snap) his legs are completely gone and much worse than they were in the first fight before they snapped, so a non gassed bellew was able to capitalize better.

However I think parris should have let it go on until the end of that round as bummer might have blown his load trying to load up.

Hopefully bummer takes a fight at heavyweight with the winner of the cruiserweight tournament or tyson fury.

Ruben Tabares this fraud of a SC, David should of fired him long ago, the guy knows nothing about building a fighter for boxing, apparently does not let Haye even do real road work like long jogs. It could be down to Haye's legs too..

How can Haye gas after 2 rounds, its shocking..

Yes I agree, but if someone is battling with ATOS, I think my comment would have cheered them up more than some canned virtues signalling comment.

I love the interesting idea that people only earn money because they're desperate for money.

In a parallel universe, David Haye has several million in the bank and he says "no, I don't need to earn a few million quid from some low risk boxing matches, I'm good".

Of course he is tempted to take the fights and he would like the millions of pounds, but he's worried that people will think he's financially desperate, so he decides against it.

This is the logic of many people on this forum and is a bit hilarious.

Low risk? He got KTFO twice and completely wrecked his already ruined body you moron.

He got taken to the cleaners in a divorce, he was destitute. He was arrested for rubber cheques in Dubai.

He always said he was done at the age of 30, yet here we are.

A real talent but also a a con man.
They cleverly took the least line of resistance to winning a belt against the giant.
Defended against has beens before shouting out and monouvering himself the big pay day against Wlad.
After shouting the odds he wasn't prepared to put it all on the line and walk the walk, a warrior he wasn't.
Came back when he was finished fought a couple of bums and conned himself a couple of more big pay days.
His legacy could have been so much more because the power and talent was there.

Do let me know when you've finished writing his biography, I presume you're one of his closest friends to know everything about him.

David has had so much sponsorship over the years and modelling work, premier watches etc, I can't believe he's that skint.

I watched a lot of MMA and those poor *******s get brain damaged before your eyes while earning about £20,000. The damage that David received were basically love taps to a fighter who is taking very little damage over the years.

But you certainly opened my eyes, I realise now that Muhammad Ali must've been riddled with debts otherwise he would have certainly retired earlier, who knew that. I guess it's the same with Roy Jones Jr, must've spent all his cash and be having a divorce, all makes sense now.

Are you ******ed? The guy was clearly injured seriously before both fights with Bellew, and by the looks of him had barely trained for this one. And judging by the level of opposition he clearly wasn't doing it for the glory.

Both Jones and Ali were bona fide ATG who just couldn't let it go. Haye always said he was cashing out and done at 30. If you can't see the difference...ah, whatever.

With regards to him being skint: look it up. It's all out there.

Yes it’s his livelihood at the end of the day. His job. And so what if he was broke and needed the money? I think earning millions in a couple of boxing matches is a simple solution.

Just because Haye isn’t the fighter he was doesn’t mean he’s conned the public.
