Dillian hunting down Deontay. Whyte beats up old man Ortiz, out pacing and out working the retiree with hard body shots and hooks as he begins to tire. Whyte to call out Deontay again after he batters the over the hill and over rated Cuban. The Body Snatcher then goes on to finally get his wish Vs the corrupt WBC and sparks Wilder with a left hook. All British heavyweight showdown at Wembley for the undisputed throne, and the new home of heavyweight boxing. Irrefutable facts. Wilder, Finkel, Dibellend and Haymon all retire and are forgot as the new dawn of Hearn and AJ rises over sunny England. No need to discuss. It's destiny.
I think it's a competitive fight. Ortiz apart from Joshua is far better than anyone than Whyte has fought so far. Ortiz is 39 years old now he could very well end up looking like Browne as he's at the age where he could suddenly look shot, especially after being beaten and stopped in his last fight. I think Whyte can out work Ortiz but it will come down to how Whyte handles Ortiz's power. Ortiz couldn't put away Wilder who isn't exactly known to be durable and Ortiz isn't a very good pressure fighter, he's too inactive and isn't great when leading even if he hurts Whyte he might not be able to finish him. If Whyte can get off first and pick his spots I could see him winning a decision or even stopping a fatigued Ortiz late. Ortiz is probably the slight favourite but I wouldn't rule out an upset, at 39 Ortiz is only going to get worse with each fight, the struggles with Scott, the under par performance vs Allen, the sloppy showing vs Martz and then the loss to Wilder may just be the downward spiral of an ageing fighter and Whyte maybe good enough to beat what's left of an old and faded Ortiz.
Whyte is gonna come good I think. The most fearless heavy about imo. Has his limitations but his hunger is real and belief in himself. Ortiz is/was a better all round fighter imo just over the hill at this stage
Very tough fight for Whyte i would love for him to beat Ortiz and keep the pressure on the WBC and Wilder but i just cant see him beating Ortiz. As soon as Wilder got within shooting range Ortiz got to work and his hand work is so good, the best in the division. So Wilder tried to keep out of Ortiz shooting range. Whyte will have to be within it to do anything at all and he isnt as good a shooter as Ortiz. But then Whyte is a much improved fighter, more focused, better trained. Maybe im doing him a little injustice cuz im basing my thoughts on his previous fights where he didnt seem as fit or focused.
It'll be funny to watch when the 60 yr old knocks Whyte's eyes back into his sockets. It'l bring him back down to reality. It'll be utter humiliation. He beat up a clinically obese, old and unfit Browne who has low output and now he thinks he's the ****.
age has clearly caught up with him, Dillian is hungry and in his prime, will outwork the slower, older Cuban. People sleep/hate on Whyte because of "Hearns" and don't want to admit he is a decent heavyweight.
Where's the evidence of this? Ortiz was fresher in the later rounds against Wilder than Browne was in the first against Whyte.
In case anyone doubts what I just said, watch Ortiz in the 9th, then watch Browne in the first. This content is protected This content is protected
lmao @ everyone who thinks Whyte has a decent chance to beat Ortiz lmao @ everyone who thinks Ortiz is shot, slow and old and has no clue in the HWD anymore I don't know if you guys are watchting boxing but everyone should rewatch the full fight Wilder/Ortiz for good. It was held on March 3rd, two months(!!!) ago. Thinking Whyte has a chance vs King Kong is delusional. King Kong by stoppage. Whyte gonna eat those left hands and doesn't know where he is.
Scary how that fight was already 2 months ago! Felt as if it was only yesterday, I’ve watched it 3 times now, feel sorry for Ortiz, he almost got the job done I can’t see the old man taking on whyte in his return fight that’s if he does return
