How do you rate Golovkins resume?

his record could be great but he will never get the credit there is always someone his ducked or has to beat now the guy to beat him and who he has to fight is saunders who's best wins are against fighters golovkin smashed to bits lol he will knockout saunders and saunders will all of a sudden be trash and didn't beat anyone this guy really can't win lol

 

His resume is solid and built on longevity and dominance rather than having any outstanding names in the win column. Kind of like Wlad, he too beat everyone that dared fight him and often made it look easy but lacked a signature win that stood out.

Golovkin can only beat the men put in front of him and he has done that to date and often in scintillating fashion. Fact is the division is devoid of any real big names he could of built his legacy on other than Canelo. You can only beat who is there to beat.

Hopkins had a similar problem during his reign. The division was devoid of any real stars and the King ensured the other title holder were kept away from him. Luckily for BHop, Tito and Oscar moved up to give him some signature wins.

Hopkins had to move up to really make people stand up and pay attention. I suspect GGG will have to do the same, he'd wreck the super middle division, even if he is past prime. Beating the winner of the WSSB in a big stadium fight in the UK could do a lot for his legacy.

 

This. GGG does have a good resume, but his only top win is Jacobs, who is a good fighter, but was easily destroyed by Pirog. If GGG can unify with BJS and become undisputed as well as beat Charlo, Canelo, and defend the Undisputed belt for 2-3 years he'll have surpassed Hopkins.

Mismatches like Vanes and Brook actually hurt his resume

You have to look deeply at the loses Jacobs for example was going through mental issues lost his grandma days before plus he even got up after that shot which you would expect to knock someone out cold but he got him and said he was fine
