Martinez couldn't beat cotto lol gtfoh Martinez got stopped by margo also Jacobs would spark him **** of
Canelo could barely win a round off a shot to bits Mayweather whose hands were completely gone. Mayeather had his hands dunked in buckets of ice for weeks prior to the fight trying to get them to work. The dude had no hands and Canelo still couldn't win.
Debatable as they've never fought but Canelo is clearly the fighter with the bigger name, profile and who's name would stand out more years from now. And even if Jacobs goes on to become a more respected win, Hagler's best win were vs smaller men in Hearn and Duran, Monzon had Griffith and Napoles too.
khan is a bigger name then Jacobs but does that mean he is better? I don't care about bigger names im talking about the better fighter
Nope. Only a pound 1/2 lighter than what he was against Smithy years later .. Green fighter don't make the P4P list. Try harder.
IIRC, this whole 3 belt stuff changed with Sturm and Golovkin being “promoted” in a way to make Golovkin the actual champ and not force Sturm to fight him. So Sturm goes from just being champ to Super champ, Golovkin goes from being interim to being a proper WBA champ and later on interim gets scrapped alltogether once Golovkin got promoted again (without fighting) to Super champ and from there on regular becomes “interim” and it’s holder mandatory to super. So to answer your questions, 1. AJ is the actual champion now, Charr is just a mandatory and his belt is second tier. 2. You cant, but you used to be able to when Golovkin was holding it and all the time before that. (Again, IIRC this 3 belt stuff started around 2001) Got to do some more reading on this, it’s a bit tangled up. Also, while looking in to this, something interesting came up - Castillejo lost his defense fight against Mariano Carrera but Carrera tested positive for clenbuterol later. Castillejo was reinstated as champion and fight was counted as a mandatory defense - lol.
