What is really stupid is people getting excited about a fighter ranked in the top 20s beating a fighter ranked in the 500s.
Forero had lost 4 out of his last 5 fights, 2 by KO. His only win in his last 5 had the incredible record of 4 and 21.
I understand Dibella wanting to showcase their new signing but please lets just see the fight for what it was.......
one fighter ranked in the 20s against another fighter ranked in the 500s.

 

A simple eye test tells you all you need to know about george kambos jnr, theres more to the fight game than just numbers/rankings records etc, hes clearly very talented and has a big future, it was a great performance none the less, regrdless of the rankings.

 

I like George, was impressed by him in his fight with Ogilvie but at this stage in his career i would prefer him to be fighting guys in the top 50 not 500.

 

Im sure alot of people would like to see george tested, it will come in due time, this is the promotional stage for george atm as to crack the us casual market and get noticed, a few easy beats to look spectacular then the bigger challenges will come, including a world title shot, boxing is a business and lou dibella knows exactly what he is doing with george. Time will tell with george but i dont think anyone has dominated forero like that, bum or no bum.

Liam Paro heads a big card at Southport Sharks May 19. The undercard includes LW Jacob Ng vs Jeffrey Kelly and local boys Adrian Rodriquez , Tysinn Best, Daniel Russell.
On the same night at Malvern Hall with Maloney twins heading the undercard includes 4 x Vict champion Terry Tzouramanis vs Perth Jacob McBride. Terry has a chance of lifetime on July 15 when he travels to KL to face Filipino southpaw Jayar Inson on the undercard to Pacquiao vs Lucas Matthysee fight.
Former Olympian Jamie Pittman who challenged Felix Sturum for MW title was last week announced as the National coach for Youth Olympic Games.
