    He retired instead.

The guy wanted nothing to do with GGG. Nothing

All the posturing previously about the email offer, he sent that knowing GGG had already signed to fight Lemieux.

He used GGG's name to build up his own after being irrelevant from his 4 year hiatus

And don't forget - Golovkin iced the guy that Ward shamelessly ducked (Lucian Bootay).

Because GGG said "no way , not happening".

You root for the guy who punked out and root against the guy that took on once of the biggest challenges in the last 20 years.. That's weak sauce brah :firefox9lk:

As if you actually believe that. :jump1:

Golovkin wouldn't even fight a Ward that was coming off a long spell of inactivity. It was one of the worst and most blatant ducks in recent memory.

Show me one shred of evidence that proves GGG agreed to fight Ward at 168? Just one?

    Behave.

He moved up and fought Kovalev twice.

Let's not pretend that GG desperately wanted to fight Andre.

The fight just wasn't viable for a variety of reasons.

How can he duck a man when he is contracted to fight somebody else? Up the dose on those meds because you are not seeing any rationale here.

He didn't agree to fight Ward at 168 because Ward only declared interest when he knew the fight wasn't feasible. Let me repeat myself once more so you understand.

Andre Coward sent the emails AFTER GGG vs Lemieux fight was announced asking for 50/50 while demanding GGG to move up in weight whilst demanding he wait on Ward to finishing having his favourite multiple tuneups to get ready a year later

When he was free after the kovalev fight, he was asked if he would fight GGG, in which he gave a flat out no in response to the question. He then decided to retire at the ripe age of 33 since he realised he had pushed his luck to the limit and the other competitors in his division and cruiserweight would show him no mercy.

It's Ward that doesn't want to fight at 168, he now wants 175:

"But if the 33-year-old Ward does return to the ring following their light heavyweight championship rematch June 17 in Las Vegas, he won’t move back down to the super middleweight division – not even for a showdown with middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin."

Exactly this. Funny how the moment Golovkin has a fight on his calendar everybody is calling him out ...

Didn’t Ward take on a bigger better version of GGG in kovalev?

Why on earth would he be afraid of a medium sized 160 who couldn’t even beat Canelo?

I think alot could depend on what a ref will let pass.
If Golovkin is being held, hit low or with elbows or headbutted, I couldnt imagine him being in a good way after and not sure if he would win.
If it is a clean boxing match I think it could be in Golovkins favour

Easily done.. Kell Brook was contracted to fight Jessie Vagras before he pulled to fight GGG for more money and fame. The difference between Brook and GGG is Kell's stones are the size of snooker balls while Golovkins are the size of raisins :naughty2:

No need to address the rest cos it will go on for too long. I tried to get a quick resolve by asking you to show me proof GGG accepted the fight at 168. The proof don't exist cos he refused the fight !!

Plus no man would ever , ever avoid Golovkin and then go and fight Sergey Kovalev. Do you have any idea what the Krusher would do to Jacobs? The fight wouldn't go past 3 rounds.

Gennady is so much better at Kovalev, at everything. But Ward might be too big for Golovkin. Anyway, a good fight. Ward's way of fighting is mostly illegal anyway. Who cares if he wins when he's allowed to do illegal stuff.

Golovkin beats Ward in a neutral Venue.

Kovalev beats Ward too. If it is a fair boxing match.
