After the bloody headbutts (Kessler), elbows (Froch) and multiple low blows (Kovalev), Ward wins by UD. Adelaide Byrd scores the fight 118-110. Laurence Cole deducts a point from GGG in the dressing room. The Oakland crowd goes home happy.

Honestly, I have always thought Ward bodies G at 168.

Ward UD... 10 rounds to 2.

Ward already won when GGG ducked.

When did GGG duck. Ward couldn't make 168 & you know it.He's like Floyd & Clenelo cannot win a fair fright they need ALL the advantages

Ward takes this and in one of two ways.

He could take it using the judges as he did in Kov 1.

Or he might use the ref as he did in Kov 2.

You think you're clever but you should know when you are debating with me your misrepresentation of reality wont wash.

Brook was not contracted to fight Jessie Vagras. You can't just pull out of contracts on the whim. They were in negotiations and Hearn was meant to get back in touch with Jessie in order to finalise the deal but he didn't due to GGG becoming available.

GGG and Lemieux had both signed the contract meaning there was no pulling out unless one party was injured.

The reason Brook took the GGG fight was because he was desperate for a big pay day and wanted to make a name for himself. It had nothing to do with believing he could win.

GGG didn't need Ward. Ward needed either GGG or Kovalev and chose the latter because he could then fall back on the excuse that it wasn't his weight class if things didn't go according to plan.

    Well you thought wrong.

Andre ''I don't want to fight no more'' Ward doesn't body a man with the Sixth longest title defense streak in boxing history. A man who cuts off the ring in order to carve up his opponent, like a butcher would to a pig.

Kovalev's downfall was that he couldn't cope with body shots. Canelo who hits far harder than Ward, was targeting GGG's mid-section the entire night and had no absolutely no effect.

What tools does Ward bring to the table besides spoiling and hoping for a gift on the scorecards?

    Ward, on points.

Naturally bigger and we know how accomplished he is at the weight, whereas it's hard to speculate if Golovkin's power comes up or if he gets even slower. It's a hard night's work though for Ward, make no mistake about it. Ward can spoil really well and I don't know how well Golovkin can deal with that. Sure, I think he's a better boxer than Kovalev but let's remember they're two weight classes apart, so Ward's physical advantages he had at 168 were a little less pronounced at 175.

With neutral judges, referee, boxing commission I would pick Golovkin, SOB has to cheat to win against anyone good....................as he did when he cheated Kovalev, Weeks should be ashamed.

Meh... Ive heard it all before. Im confident in my ability to pick fights that Ive actually analyzed and feel strongly about... and this is one of them.

Wards too big, too good, and too smart for Golovkin. If they were the same size it would be a good fight... but they aren't, and it would show.

G barely could deal with Jacobs size, movement and counterpunching, but hes going to deal with Wards? Canelos footwork had G largely unable to corner him but hes going to corner Ward effectively?

Trust... Ward hits harder than you think, is faster than you think, stronger than you think, is more cunning, and is obviously much better than you surmise.

His footwork and counterpunching on the outside, and his size and strength on the inside, would make G look foolish for stepping to 168. He would be circling succesfully, walking G into shots, and tying him up close the times G does manage to close the gap.

Super 6 Ward should win a UD.

I doubt Ward can make super middle now and he's been inactive for a while.

Why do you GGG distractors always bring up Jacobs as if he did anything in the fight?

Yes he was the first man to survive 12 rounds against GGG. Well done, an admirable accomplishment in itself. Besides that he got out jabbed, out punched and out classed in every department.

Lets not forget he was 180lbs on the night. That's cruiserwweight. Just let that sink in for one second. And you bellieve Ward would be too big for GGG? Who's been knocking down real HW's in sparring as if they were flyweights ?

Kovalev outboxed Ward in the first fight very easily and he was solely headhunting. GGG goes to the head and body and suffocates every single opponent.

Canelo had never been backed up ever in his entire career. Against GGG he became a runner for the first time in his life.

 Golovkin is one of my favorite fighters but Im a 'detractor' now because I dont think he can beat Ward? What nonsense

The rest of your post is so over the top and ridiculous Im actually starting to think you just succesfully trolled me. :sherlock:

If youre trolling.... damn you, but you did get me.

If youre not trolling... then I can tell this conversation is pointless.
