    Saunders only holds the WBO and up until recently wasn't even a draw in his own house.
    GGG took the money. If also took on the biggest cash cow in the sport in the weight class he competes in and was robbed on the cards. Why do fighters always have to move up. Hagler never did.

    Cool but don’t blame Canelo then, blame ggg for not getting the final belt when could of and he still could now. I don’t mind him going for the money it’s just his fan boys and team saying undisputed was what he was after.

    Hagler was undisputed, he fought 3 of the greatest fighters of all time. One of the hardest puncher in MW history.

    The whole Canelo debacle never made sense to me really, I think GGG side got stuffed big time.
    I get the “big money” thing, but it would’ve made much more sense for them to get that last strap and then enter the negotiations being undisputed MW champ, more leverage.

    They seemed to be close to having a deal with Saunders in summer 2017, fight would’ve been in a Kazakhstan, with local millionaires backing it so purse would be solid, but they walked away from that cuz Canelos side threatened that their fight wouldn’t happen if G gought BJS.

    I don’t think any of them up there fight for their pride and glory but the way this was handled doesn’t do them any favours.

    You are completely right, GGGs team got antsy.

    Let’s break it down, If GGG had gotten undisputed at the time there was no one left that people were calling for him to fight.

    Canelo moves up coz he was killing himself to make 155, where does he go? Who can he fight that would make him the type of money that the GGG fight would bring him. All roads lead back to GGG, he would be the man.

    The fact of the matter is GGGs team really underplayed their hand, even now, who does Canelo fight if not GGG. He doesn’t want no parts of Jacobs, Andrade or Charlo, big risk small reward for him.

    Agree, he’s been mishandled badly, Canelo would’ve faced him at some point anyway.

    When exactly did Ward say, "I want to fight 3G next?" only to be denied? Was this before or after his injuries? Before or after he was in court over his promoter?

    You know who else wanted chavez? Ward. Chavez was a cash cow, so he was chased bt several in/around his weight.

    I asked you about the date Ward challenged 3G, only to be declined. What you replied with isn't an answer.

    Do you have a specific date, or are we going by generalities and hearsay from a message boarders?

    So why dig at GGG never fighting Ward? They were weight divisions apart. The WBO has always been the minor belt of the established belts anyway. There was never any mileage in fighting Saunders up until recently.

    Canelo can be blamed for screwing GGG of top tier win and another belt with his drugs taking and bent judges
