Gennady Golovkin punches almost 3 times as hard as Mayweather did. In a literal sense.

When you've been used to making 154 for years and you are barely able to make that, being asked to shred an extra 2 pounds can be very detrimental to one's health. He wasn't drained to death, but he was drained significantly.

Mayweather's power combined with his hand speed and punch selection was a factor. Particularly Mayweather's jab, he was throwing it with a lot of force that night.

At (42-0-1, 30 KOs) Canelo wasn't seasoned enough for you? How do you explain the Jacobs loss........... sorry I me gift?

Canelo had a lot of wins, he was experienced, but he was still only in his early 20s, and had little experience as a Main Event PPV attraction at that point. Certainly that was his first true Mega Fight. So in that sense he wasn't seasoned as a PPV Main Eventer.

They didn't fight at MW so that is all speculation. And GGG won against Canelo, just because some idiot judge had it 10-2 doesn't mean he lost.

If some judge had DLH and Mayweather a draw I'm sure you would say it was legitimate scorecard right?

"had little experience as a Main Event PPV attraction at that point" Despite being groomed for the spotlight under Mayweather cards? Canelo had been exposed to far more people at that point than many fighters could ever dream of prior to fighting Mayweather. So is the reason why Golovkin drew with a blown up middleweight that Mayweather toyed wiyh due to lack of Main Even ppv attraction?

GGG fought Canelo at a natural weight and didn't drain him. Plus Mayweather ran from him, GGG put more of a beating on the Ginger.

Then why didn't Mayweather let him weigh in at 154 pounds if it didn't matter?

You didn't watch Mayweather-Canelo did you? Canelo never had good footwork and he was forced to come forward all night on a retreating Mayweather. Canelo played the role of Mayweather against GGG by moving away the entire fight, it is what saved him from getting KTFO. Canelo got a gift from the judges, he should have two losses on his record.

The two situations are not identical. The difference is that Golovkin was in his mid-30s when he fought Canelo, while Canelo had just turned 23 when he fought Mayweather.

How many fighters are considered "seasoned" at the age of 23 ?

So yes Golovkin was obviously more seasoned when he fought Canelo than Canelo was when he fought Mayweather.

Golovkin had less professional fights, less professional rounds but look at the age difference and how long Golovkin was established as a champion at Middleweight.

Neither Canelo (when he fought Mayweather) or Golovkin (when he fought Canelo) were established PPV attractions. When you talk about being a seasoned fighter fighting at the highest level, main eventing PPVs, etc, there's no comparison when it comes to the experience fighting at that Level that Mayweather had in 2013 vs 2013 Canelo or 2017 Golovkin.

Mayweather wasn't retreating that often vs Canelo. He stood in the pocket vs Canelo for a good portion of the bout. Mayweather used his upper body more than he usually does vs Canelo to slip punches, while staying in the pocket.

I wasn't aware you could run if you out land your opponent in power punches landed? Log off.
