Big opportunity for Frank Warren to take over the British scene

He can't even fulfil his tv dates which were scheduled for 2018

 

Warren has the best stable in Britain right now.

Billy Joe beats all of Hearn’s MWs.
Tyson beats Hearn’s HWs.
Hutchinson v Buatsi is a 50/50 in a couple years’ time but Franky boy has Yarde as well, so is stronger, although Hearn still has dark horse Johnson.
Frampton most likely beats Quigg again and so does Selby, and Galakunt is frozen out of the picture and rightly so.
Flanagan beats Hearn’s LWWs.

Brook is probably 60/40 favourite over Liam Smith.
Campbell beats Franky boy’s LWs.

Clearly Franky boy has the greater stable.

I think Hearn has the better stable, especially when you add in who’s coming through. You can go both ways though, it just depends who you prefer

HW: A few years ago, I’d be convinced of Fury beating AJ, now I have no idea and would put it at 50-50, maybe 60-40 AJ purely because of what Fury has done to himself. Can’t forget about Dubois as well, could be a real force in years to come I’d he can take a punch

CW: I think Okolie would probably beat Thompson

LHW: Hearn has the British champion, who Yarde ducked. He also has Buatsi who likely beats Yarde. Agreed on Hutchinson, looks a top prospect & is a great signing, not sure I’d have it 50/50 yet though

SMW: Smith probably beats all of Franks SMW, but I’m interested to see how Chielli progresses

MW: Agreed, BJS is the main man (between Warren/Hearn)

LMW: Id favour Brook against Smith

WW: Khan beats Skeete

LWW: Flanagan beats Hearns LWW

LW: Hearn has better LWs

SFW: I don’t rate Woodstock, I think Barrett can adjust from his loss and come good, atm Stephen Smith is better than both

FW: Warren rules Britain with his featherweights

SBW: McDonnell probably edges it, but Tommy Ward is a good fighter, plus Lucien Reid coming through

BW: 50/50 Burnett/Tete, although I favour Burnett, but that’s only my opinion, public perception is 50/50

SFW: Kal Yafai I think is probably the best in the country

FW: Frank has Paddy Barnes and Hearn doesn’t have any FW I don’t think

It’s close, but I think Hearn has the slightly better stable, and more promising prospects

IF Frank was to capture the heavyweight belts the table would turn significantly. I think Joshua and Hearn will plan to duck Fury if version 2 looks decent.

 

If you mean the OP, I don’t see how it’s deluded or laughable. If Hearn focuses more on US & puts U.K. on the back burner while he’s building US, and plus his PPV fighters being a couple of fights away from retiring, then there is a genuine chance of FranK taking over the U.K.

If you mean mine and/or @CutThroatFade s posts, again, I don’t see anything deluded or laughable.

But either way, And if you feel so strongly about it, give us your opinion, instead of ridiculing others

 

Generally if anyone thinks Hearn and Matchroom would jeopardise the UK in search of fortune in the US then they are deluded. Anyone thinks Fwank has a better stable and outfit than Hearn is deluded. Eddie is even in my eyes one of those annoying twats you just want to see fall flat on his face but as things stand he is miles ahead and will always have the UK market wrapped up as long as he has Sky and cementing this deal only makes him stronger not weaker in the UK.

 

No ones saying “jeopardise” I don’t think, but it’s understandable that a lot of his focus for the next couple of years will be the US. If some of Hearns British stars start thinking they’re not getting much attention, you never know what they might think.

When it comes to stables, as I said and argued, I think Hearn has the better stable, but I see the argument for Frank. Has a whole, Hearn is so far ahead, but he needs to start building “stars” quickly as his “oldies” near retirement. I think that’s why he’s stepping the likes of Kelly/Okolie up so fast. But Warren does have some top, top fighters too. BJS, Fury, Frampton, Warrington, Selby are all established, plus the likes of Yarde/Dubois coming through

 

Frank is his own worst enemy. Look at the start of the year for him. Nobody but himself done that to him. Once he irons out these problems and once he focuses more on himself and his WHOLE stable he can be right up there. Frank is desperate for an AJ, he’s a once in a lifetime phenomenon. Dubois / Yarde aren’t going to ever be AJ. He’s got the full package, looks, gold medal, skills and a bit of personality too. The others haven’t got no medals or personality and skills are questionable at this stage. He focuses so much on these two and neglects others IMO. Flanagan - longest unbeaten “world champion” in Britain, hasn’t fought for 18 months.

 

I was wondering what impact it will have on the British scene. You'd imagine more British fighters fighting on American cards which may or may not be a good thing. Will we see less of Eddie and someone else at Matchroom take care of some of the domestic cards?

 

Again can someone explain why Warren is unable to fulfil his BT Sport dates?
