It's all BS dude, seriously. It's like a page out of shadows playbook.

    1) The tests that came back positive were conducted February 17 and February 20. No one who I spoke with (trainers, doctors and others) said that the ingestion of Clenbuterol at that time would have any impact whatsoever on Canelo’s abilities for his planned May 5 fight.

    Pure horse****.

    2) The levels of Clenbuterol in Canelo’s system were “consistent” with meat contamination, according to Dr. Daniel Eichner, director of the Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory and one of the most respected professionals in his field.

Wrong again. Eichner said the low sample was/could be consistent with contamination however the higher sample was not consistent and need scrutiny.

    3) Receipts from restaurants where Canelo ingested meat in the time period that would have led to positive tests on February 17 and February 20 were provided to the NAC.

Again, where is the proof he actually ate there and the receipts are not fabricated? Where is the proof of the contamination? And on that subject, it's his fault he ate at a restaurant and of his own choice given the how the rules work.

    4) A hair-follicle test showed absolutely no trace of Clenbuterol in his system. Though hair-follicle testing is not currently approved for PEDs, one would reasonably expect to find Clenbuterol in the test, as substances ingested as long as years prior to the test, can still cause a positive result.

Wrong again, hair follicle testing is inconclusive. The lab that ran the test, oh that Mr Eichner even said this much.

    5) It is well established that Clenbuterol has been used in a slew of slaughterhouses throughout Mexico, despite a government ban on the activity. MMA fighters, NFL football players, professional soccer players, golfers and many other athletes who have travelled to Mexico have subsequently tested positive for the substance. Many have received no punishment whatsoever.

This excuse holds no water because it is the athletes responsibility to keep PEDs out of their system. This ties into #3, more horse poo. As a multi million dollar athlete, Clenelo is more than capable of keeping PEDs out of his system. He's got multiple butchers on his team on that front not to mention his boasting of his personal chefs.

    6) If the May 5 fight had been slated to take place in California, Texas, New York or many other places, Canelo would have likely been allowed to fight, as those states do not have a zero-tolerance drug policy when it comes to Clenbuterol.

Wrong again. The states follow each other's rulings.

Now do you understand why I say THE Ring has no credibility?? Oscar has made it his & GBP rag. I feel sorry for Doug Fischer & the others. How can a GBP promo guy over rule THE RING on what should be their belt??
Oscar, GBP, The Ring have lost what little credibility they had. Doug & the others need to bale out they deserve better

You sound salty AF, and like you have an agenda.

Your post is rubbish and stems from the hate you have for Canelo.

You can't even refute the first point. Look, Clen's primary function would be to lose weight, if you look at Canelo, he already has a very low body mass index.

You're grasping at straws because you so want to belive he's a juicer since you hate him so much. Not just you, but all his haters, hence the need for you and his critics passionately dissect and view every single factor from a pessimists perspective.

Your second point is also BS.

SMRTL director said and I quote, " These values are ALL within the range of what is expected from meat contamination. Further investigation is needed to make a final decision."

Point three shows how derranged you are. LOL

Its like the hair follicle test, all you haters demanded Canelo submit to one to prove he was clean, as soon as he does, well they are not always 100% reliable. Omg lol

Now with the receipts, you guys demanded he prove where he ate the meat by providing reciepts, he does, now suddenly the receipts are fabricated. Hahahha.. GTFO with you BS.

Point four is just you spinning around your own comments. You guys demanded hair test, you got it, you demanded receipts, you got it.

The hair follicle test came back negative, the positive tests contained values consistent with meat contamination, he passed four more tests after Feb. What else do you haters want? Canelo has been cleared of any wrong doing and the mainstream media has reported on this and all but his haters believe he is innocent of wrongdoing.

For your 5th point I agree 100%, that he is responsible what he eats, and as a result of eating contaninated meat he has paid dearly and is serving a six month suspension.

As far as having personal chefs or butcher friends, the **** that has to do with him having dinner at a restaurant that served him contaminated meat? Your desperation to paint him ad a cheat really clouds your analytical skills.

And finally for your last point. States may or may not follow each others rulings. So again, you are wrong. When Tyson got suspended from fighting in NV, he applied in TN and got sanctioned.

GBP, Oscar is a cancer on this sport, it has spread, the Ring magazine is all but dead now and the ring title is all but meaningless. Maybe super Eddie Hearn can start a new magazine when he is done saving Boxing.

So Canelo just conveniently saved the receipts from all the restaurants he had eaten at? I always throw those away immediately.

Yea lol. Also that stuff can be back dated like it was 1999. Just ask Lance, he got back dated doctors notes all the time, then got TUE's retro actively applied to those faked doctors notes.

Speaking of rubbish what happened to your claim that Canelo passed several tests before he failed the two tests in this training camp.

Do you want to see a complete ban of Boxers from the Clenbuterol capital of the world? then better fix that tainted meat problem.

I think Fisher did an outstanding job of stating both sides of the case which included an explanation by the Editor as to why Canelo shouldn't be stripped.
I think it was professional of him to write that even though he voted to strip Canelo of the Ring Belt, it did not in anyway mean he felt Canelo was a cheater.

Basically the panel was voting to strip Canelo because the NSAC did.
The NSAC has a zero toleranace for a failed drug test. That means they can suspend a fighter even if they feel Canelo positive test was from inadvertent consumption of contaminated meat.

Fisher is right, there own rules for suspending fighters should be updated and made more clear.
