Most of what comes out of Kellermans mouth is stupid. E.g suggesting GGG should have been dq'd against Vanes for hitting while down without even watching the replay. Kellerman has opened up new frontiers of idiocy.

Idk if this counts but George Foreman in the middle of the Bowe v Golata II post fight riot, had some skinny guy in a headlock with the poor guys eyes looking like they going to pop out of his head or his head was going to pop off…Big George saying ‘don’t do it son, don’t do it’…

That was a special moment…

 

Do we count as boxing commentators cause i mean we do comment on boxing? Because michiganwarrior trying to argue the meaning of 'floored' still gets me to this day

 

Oh, wow, did he actually have the guy in a headlock? Obviously the dude was thinking of punching Foreman in the nuts That would not have been healthy

Jim Lampley sounds extremely stupid every time, when he opens his mouth when fighter (hyped by HBO) takes a beating and then has a little success (like throwing a punch).

Lampley tries all he can to create the illusion that HBO protege is competitive/has a chance of winning

 

You could just as easily be talking about Adam Smith on Sky.

How nobody in this forum has a problem with the head of boxing for a network also commentating on the fights I'll never know. The creepy seat sniffer couldn't be any more biased towards sky/matchroom fighters.

 

When Max Kellerman said that Michael Grant was the future of the heavyweight division and when Teddy Atlas said that Kirk Johnson would easily knock Vitali Klitschko out with one punch, then Vitali knocked Kirk Johnson out in the second round, Larry Merchant said, "The whale has been harpooned."

Jim Watt when Adam Etches was completely knocked the **** out by Khomitsky. Etches was evidently seriously hurt, the crowd fell silent and Watt started having a go at the ref for not counting and waving it off. To be fair to Jim when he saw the paramedics came in he took it back but was such a dumb reaction at the time.

Also I like Lampley but his comment about “Allah” and “Barrera” when he beat Naseem was dumb and not even witty or funny. Big George Foreman checked him big time on the mic for that.
