It might be time to start considering him one of the greatest fighters of all time, and he has only been pro for 5 years.

You dont become atg in just 10 fights, even if it was against relatively good opposition.
He still has a long way to go.
(And i am a big fan)

As somebody who has been critical of his previous opposition and the hype that he gets ( even though i still consider him a great tallent) I Want to see if he can still perform in the same way at the highest levels, This is true crossroads fight for me, the type of fight i have wanted to see him in for a long time.

If he clowns linares, I am will become a convert and my respect for him will skyrocket. He will 100% be in my p4p discussion with that win, I do think that all the top guy's need a few more big fights to truly cement them selves tho, nobody yet has a string of elite fighters on there resume, but the fights are there to be made, If loma clowns linares that's a massive statement. ATG status comes from a string of elite fighters tho, Not many current fighters are in that discussion but have the potential if they make the big fights with the best of their era.

"Alexa, who has less than 15 fights and is already an ATG?"

"Is you serious, boy? Vah-Sealy Lomachenko."

no. rigo and linares would be his crowning achievements and that aint near enough.
rigo was too old and fight was at wrong weight. buuut... he did dominate and rigo did say loma is the real thing.
linares is a stylistic gimme (imo) and hasnt achieved much outside of getting us hard with his technique, historically speaking.
beating garcia would mute most arguments against putting him up there with the best ever, because garcia will go on to whoop a lot of ass afterwards.
if he loses to garcia, he can still become an atg by beating all names at 135 and 130, because garcia will move up immediately.

Since it appears as though he doesn’t want to clean out and rule over any specific weight class, he must want to hang his hat on multiple weight classes. If that’s the case:

After he gets a strap at 140, he has to go up and beat someone like Crawford or Spence at 147 just to get to his 5th weight class.

He has to go up and beat someone like Gilbert Ramirez or David Benevidez at 168 (or some catchweight between 160-168) to get his 8th weight class.

    Good luck!

Why stop there? Beterbiev can’t find who to fight, there are a few good matchups at CW, surely he’ll have no issues becoming mandatory for WBC HW strap too.

As far as the Crawford thing goes, Loma already said no to that and so did his biological father. No one has asked Salido what he thinks yet. He just wants full custody for Father Day this year.

Are people forgetting that Mitchell was beating and outboxing Linares before the stoppage?

Was adding "biological" really necessary? :watchout: Does Loma have any other fathers?

Fully agreed, as another big Loma fan. Unless you fought ten top elite ATG potential fighters in those ten fights, that's just not enough.

If he does, it'll be a great accomplishment on its own, but Lomachenko still has a way to go before he's in that consideration. I'd also say that I'm not a fan of proclaiming any current fighter as an ATG while they're still fighting, unless it's something truly special.
