    Round 1 Adames 10-9
    Round 2 Adames 20-9
    Round 3 Barrera 10-9, close
    Round 4 Adames 10-9
    Round 5 Adames 10-9
    Round 6 Adames 10-9
Round 7 Adames 10-9, very close
    Round 8 Adames 10-9, close

Adames landing clean from various angles, Barrera had a little success late, when he appeared to shake up Adames with a straight right, but he was goofing off.

Adames seems massively overhyped to me unless I’m missing something. They should’ve put Conlan’s bout as co-main, although Larrinaga did his best to make that a boring contest lol

Adames is as squarely "B+" as it gets, from this.

Good fight. Barrera has the right gameplan, but he just pushes his punches, no leverage on them

Tell you what, if Barrera wins these last two rounds you can make a case for him winning this. I haven't really been scoring it, but been a few close rounds.

Adames would do very well to stay southpaw. He looks to be more fluid from that position.

    Round 2 Adames 20-9
    Round 3 Barrera 10-9, close
    Round 4 Adames 10-9

Round 7 Adames 10-9, very close
    Round 8 Adames 10-9, close
    Round 9 Barrera 10-9, close

Barrera giving him angles, landing in combo to the body, and getting out of there, Adames landing one twos, seems gassed, but still almost took it on power.

Man... Adames is struggling with a journeyman and these clowns on ESPN are talking as if he's the next Sugar Ray

(if anybody was confused here, I had copied the names Provodnikov and Pacquiao to my clipboard in the previous couple of minutes and pasted the latter in lieu of the former by accident - I'm not going senile or living in some alternate reality where Manny & Mike actually fought, promise :sisi1 Edited to fix it now.)

These guys doing a lot of posing & nodding at each other in the final minute. Neither all that hungry to put a flourish on this or try for a KO.

edit: they do have a big exchange in the last 5 seconds, both channeling their inner SRL, but still a relatively boring round overall.

Could see this a draw. Commentators joke as always ‘do you think barrera is just fighting not to get knocked out?’

No he’s fighting to win and clearly showing it.

Big scars on Adames left shoulder. Shoulder surgery?

    Round 10 Adames 10-9

The 10th was a slugfest, both men swinging for the fences, Adames gt the best of it, he rocked Barrera badly at the bell.

    Adames 98-92

    97-93 is fine as well.
