Lomachenko is flicking his southpaw jab into the guard and comes straight through with a left cross early. Linares is circling to his right and tries a swiping left hook on the belly. Linares changes directions and tries a right uppercut while strafing by Lomachenko. Body jab by Linares. Quick duck by Lomachenko and crick of the neck to slip a left jab from Linares, and sharp counter right jab scores. Lomachenko doubles a jab into the guard. Lomachenko is controlling range, hopping away from the lead right of Linares. Clinch. Linares holds Lomachenko in a headlock, inner elbow stuffed into his mouth, and chops him in the side of the head with his right before the break. Lomachenko is pecking the guard with double jabs stepping in, then smoothly gliding halfway out again, then moving clockwise. Linares blasts out with a super-fast lead left hook and catches Lomachenko on the side of the neck past his upheld right glove, grazing his chin.
