Nah, I had Linares winning the because he landed cleaner shots more consistently, maybe Loma took a round off but he got outworked.

I agree, Loma shouldn't stay at 135... I mean he put on 3.6 pounds overnight whereas Linares put on 20.

Oh no he didn't. Aside from the 6th, that was Linares's best round and Lomachenko's worst. He landed just as much as Loma in that frame (if not more), harder and better. He dictated the tempo and terms of engagement and he didn't allow his foe to take it back at the end of the frame.

    Clear Linares round.

That's a fair take. I do rate Floyd quite highly at the weight even with playing devil's advocate against him in this particular matchup. It's not even something that's a knock against Floyd, really...I wouldn't favor anyone that young without exposure to world-caliber southpaws to figure out Loma on the spot, which is essentially what would have to happen. Salvador Sanchez would be my pick if a young gun were to pull it off.

Yeah he's not juicing like a lot of these multi weight champion legends did when they moved up through the divisions.

Yep, Linares up on one card, Loma up on another and even on a third. That's accurate. It was a very close fight. People on this board are idiots.

    Lets be real,

The only reason The judges had this CLOSE on the cards is because of Fishnet stockings and spoon fetish man Oscar DeLaGoya who is more corrupt than Nixon.

Oscar and his judges tried to screw over another talent. This is pathetic.

A lot of times judges are generous to fighter landing the bigger punches.

Go back, Jack, watch it again.

Linares may have upped his work rate and landed more than in other rounds but look at the actual connects. Lomachenko still did the cleaner and higher quality work overall.
