Thankfully Loma got the KO to prevent a potential robbery by the judges. Seriously, Loma arguably won every round except one, and yet one judge had Linares up by two? WTF?

Wasn't Inoue champion at this third weight with two weight titles by then?

Yeah, same. I liked Diablo...he just had the misfortune of being a perennial contender in a strong era at 130-135lbs.

One fight behind Loma, in his 8th fight, according to good old Google.

Mikey seems to think he can, but I have the same suspicion as you. I'm not sure you can take near two years out of the division and slot right back in. I'll be delighted to see the fight happen though, but I reckon they may make it at a catchweight.

Says he won his first world title in his sixth fight and his second in his 7th so he's joint second fastest if so.

Could you knock it off with that bigger, harder hitting crap. He's an inch taller, a couple of inches longer, and he started at 122 lbs. They are the same size and both are featherfisted. Linares is a little taller and bigger in the shoulders, but he cuts easy and has no chin.

No, actually I commented on his body shots in most of my RBR posts. It was good stuff, but not enough to bag him any rounds.

    Linares kept hitting low.

I saw it with my own eyes.
