It seems like I'm only one who saw it coming. I've called Linares the 2nd most skilled fighter in the world long before he signed to fight Loma. He just has no chin.

Unless your a big pressure fighter like Castillo, you're not beating Floyd.

Floyd is not afraid to stink up the joint. He would undoubtedly out point Loma pot shotting or by making Loma the agressor.

dude, youre simultaneously trying to be the voice of esb, while trying to match guys completely glued to the smallest details in the action. at least be open to the possibility of error.

I think Loma vs Mikey is a tough fight purely because Mikey is much bigger than Loma and he hits really hard. Egidijus Kavaliauskas said he'd never felt power like Mikey's before and he's a career 147 pounder who comes in at 160 on fight night. As good as Mikey is technically, Loma>>>>>>>>>>>>>him and if they were the same size he'd beat him easy.

Human error factors in, with everybody that has ever pushed the buttons for Comp-U-Box there has probably been a bit of their personal scoring preferences seeping in to affect to a degree which shots they count and which they don't. I'm confident in my objectivity, if not the rapidity of my ocular stimuli processing.

Juan Laporte had an even harder trail to walk: Kostya Tszyu, Azumah Nelson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Barry McGuigan, Wilfredo Gomez, Ruben Castillo, Eusebio Pedroza, Rocky Lockridge, Salvador Sanchez.

i think people are overating mikey garcia. he is stuck in limbo at 140, no way would be able to got to ww and become a top name. hes found his weight and hes an elite fighter, but loma will do him in. if garcia decided to stay at 140, Mr Tartan would pepper that man.

He made that weight over a decade ago and GREW out of it if you still have not figured it out that fighters go up in weight as they physically mature usually until they hit their late 20's early 30s.. same reason Pac could not make 126 if he wanted to anymore and why Floyd could not even make a 145 catchweight FFS. And Linares had 3 losses in 43 fights including 15 world title fights before Loma if he had no chin he wouldn't have won so many. Linares was a lot bigger in the ring and it showed.

Linares was up on one card, down on another and even on the third. 96-94, 94-96, and 95-95 I think.

i agree, what im wondering is why their interpretation of the action sitting at ringside, is less reliable than you trying to type full paragraphs while trying to concentrate on action?
