Yeah and he sat on the floor for almost 10 seconds. Needed time to recover?

Nah you underrated him. And your searching for his short comings. How about he weighed more, was taller, had significant reach , is best lightweight in the world by 2 of 3 most significant publications of the sport and got stopped by a body shot no less by the much smaller man in his first fight in the division.
Daring to be great. Great great win on the resume and a great night for the sport

Not at all. I rated him accordingly. I think the issue here is that you're overrating him, so you think everyone that doesn't rate him the way you want is underrating him. I'm going to assume you're a massive Loma dickrider and want to desperately overrate this win.

Because it's a smart thing to do, really the guy was just sitting there smiling, it's as light a KD as it comes.

Insults the last refuge of a defeated man.
The win speaks for itself a ko of the best lightweight in the world in your 12th pro fight and moving up in weight. Nothing to overrate their. Quality win. Big night for the sport.

Ive said it a dozen times and I'll say it again, no one is out boxing Loma. To beat Loma you have to pressure and throw lots of hard punches, that seems to be when Loma is more vulnerable.

Best lightweight lmao. According to who? Easter has better wins than him. Granted, Easter struggled with a lot of those wins just like Linares. 135 is a dog**** division.

ESPN, Trans national boxing ratings and Ring- 2 of the 3 has Linares 1 the other one had him at 2. Now I don’t value ESPN ratings but I think the other two are sound authorities on the subject even if I disagree with them from time to time.
To say 135 is dog sh** is to say Linares is dog sh** and i’m Sorry I strongly disagree on that front.
I do believe Lomachenko is already filled out at his age though and don’t believe he should move up anymore and maybe even should go back to 130 but that’s up to him and his father to decide. All I know is tonight was a great night for the sport my phone wouldn’t stop buzzing from ppl reaching out to me over this bout.

I am a fan of Mikey Garcia but I feel he is a little overrated. I would slightly favor Linares over him, but he definitely is capable of causing problems for Loma. I still favor Loma though; Mikey just seems a little too one-dimensional, although he can obviously change the fight in a second with his power. I’d love to see this fight happen.

Ok. So where would you rate 135? Do you think it's better than 126, 130, 140, 147, 154, 160, 168, 175, cruiser, or HW? It's one of the worst divisions. Linares isn't dog ****. He's a good fighter. He wouldn't be top 5 in WW. I give Loma credit for this win forsure, good win, but not what you people are trying to make it out to be. Not even close.

My estimation of Loma vs Garcia remains the same as it was before the Linares fight. Because the Linares fight pretty much looked as I expected (outside the kd)

Loma vs Garcia is, imo, 60/40 to Loma with that 40 encompassing some very real possibilities of him getting stopped.

Hes levels above Garcia, but with Garcias size, power and precision, it only takes that one shot to change the fight.

Still...I expect Loma to make Garcia look ordinary.

If only this fight can happen....

I expected a tougher fight for Lomachenko, and I didn't expect the knockout. I think Linares would beat Garcia, I know that Garcia wouldn't win a round against Lomachenko.

Lomachenko should avoid Garcia. I think Garcia is just too big.

Garcia has a punchers chance and I thought that even before tonight. I think style wise Linares is a harder fight for Loma due to his speed and combos. Mikey comes forward and doesnt have that many diferent punches. I have mikey getting killed in this fight
