In his hometown, with his favorite judges yeah. Even that's not enough as we all know.
We don't know how fight would play out as both guys are too good at their crafts. Outcome is hard to gauge realistically.

Because unlike them I have an individual reputation for my objectivity and on-the-fly evaluative analysis; who knows the name of any Comp-U-Box guys? :nusenuse:

You have to be biased not to see they were landing about the same. You guys were just awful not giving Linares anything when he took half the rounds.

To be fair, no one is above reproach, even you.

Not saying I'm perfect; I'm saying don't throw "but the Comp-U-Box guys said..." at me, because neither are they, and they don't really know any better than I do and I think a lot of people agree with that.

Some of that is growth. Some is not cutting as much weight. You could say the same things about Lomachenko that you said about Linares. Linares had 3 losses but he never fought anybody A list. He lost all three of those by KO to nobodies because his skin cuts like paper and he has no chin. Like Emmanuel Stewart said, Linares is gifted and skilled beyond the normal. He'd be Sugar Ray Robinson if he just had a punch and chin. I'm not sure he's that good, but he's technically excellent. Since his knockouts he's been guarding his chin better, fighting a little more cautiously, sort of like how Wlad Klitschko did after he was getting knocked out a lot. If you are really good, you can protect a soft chin, unless you are fighting someone with great skill himself or someone with unusual power. Linares looked about the same size in the ring as Lomachenko.

I don't think he will fare well against the best at 147 due to size, but at 140 he's very formidable and dangerous, but down at 135 he's really dangerous and Loma is not a big guy and does not belong up at 135

    These are Loma's ring weights

Supposedly he was 138 tonight for his debut at 135

He said he was 137 for Rigo

    Loma 139 - Sosa 142

    Loma 129 - Ramirez 135

So he weighed about the same tonight as he did for half his fights at 126 and all his fights at 130 give or take a pound.

I deleted it right after I posted it. It was an exaggeration. You guys get at least as many right as you get wrong. And CST got one right recently that I was wrong about.

Genaro Hernandez was an operator before he died. 41-2-1 two time super featherweight champ. The two losses are to De La Hoya and Mayweather Jr.
