Damn Kirk, very high standard for Loma. I think it rises quite a bit, stopping someone like Linares in his 1st fight at a new weight division is actually pretty great haha.

Linares has been stopped b4 true but he's been undefeated for 5 years and #1 in the division (At least b4 tonight)

Yea, that fits. By the end of the next round (after the KD) he was back to work unfazed it seemed to me. What really sticks out is that Linares could not capitalize on the KD. Loma's cautiousness paid off?

He set a record and knocked out a much bigger man. If his stock doesn't rise then there is something wrong with you. That was a historic win and performance, Lomachenko's best yet.

Up of course. He moved up and beat the current man in that division, he didn't move up and cherry pick a belt which is what most do ( first, at least ) Sure he got tagged, I'd expect it moving up, especially against a quality operater. But the feat alone pushed his stock up. Also, getting tagged will do his chances of getting more big fights no harm at all. Win win.

    Down.

We saw a clear ceiling for Loma. Loma appeared completely beatable and he should absolutely not try 140.

to some extent. being at the end of a round definitely helped/hurt, depending on who one favored. Loma wasn't wobbly when he arose so i think he felt it, but wasn't in dire straights.

Loma should at least spend a couple more fights at 135 before moving up.

Go ahead and dismiss my opinion by calling me one.

Loma was not that far from losing.

I'm sorry! Loma is the bestis of all the bestis of forever and ever forever. Happy now! Jesus F@cking Christ! What is it with you Loma loving idiots. You argue against anyone that doesn't say Loma did everything perfect in a fight or if someone gives props to one of his opponents! Objectivity, learn it! Loma is a damn good fighter no doubt, but I'm not gonna come on here and diminish what Lineras did. He put up a good, competitive fight, dropped Loma and got taken out with and great body shot. Fools come on here and act he was never in the fight at all.SMFH
