Loma almost KOd Salido with a well placed bodyshot in the last rd: today, he wore down Linares and again closed the show with the liver shot. I believe this could be a very important factor should he meet Garcia, who's showed to noticeably slow down in the later rds. Another factor would be Garcia isn't such a great inside fighter and doesn't exactly seek to engage people up close, preferring to work at safe distance. Which means if Loma manages to get close to him, he will have the advantage.
The problem is the size. If Mikey stands in front of Loma and starts pounding his smaller body with heavy shots, which he'll feel even if those lands on gloves and arms of Lomachenko, Loma might feel frustriated in the later rounds. Physicality and forcing him to fight at back foot is key to besting Loma as of right now.
Its an illusion. He has excellent stamina so while his opponents slow down, he gets the appearance of getting stronger when its just his opponent getting tired while he is still operating on a higher gear. Same thing with Trinidad, Margarito, Mayweather, Broner. Very well conditioned fighters who finish strong m
Loma's constantly in and out and doesn't give his opponents the possibility to time him, so after a while each time he feints them they're forced to throw 'leave me alone' shots which he easily evades with his feet and timing. As they're made to expend their energy defending themselves on the inside, it slowly depletes their resources.
Mikey won't land on Lomas body a much quicker Linares couldn't do it, 95% of his body punches were blocked by Loma
This. He is very fit and his tempo is fast from the start and does not slow down while his opponants understandably do.
You can't be stronger in the later rounds, fatigue always comes into play but Lomachenko is just fitter than everyone else so he just gets better as the fight progresses because his opponent tires quicker than he does
He's won his last 8 fights by stoppage and the last time he was taken the distance was against Suriya Tatakhum, a fight in which he badly damaged his hand in round 6 and boxed most of the remaining rounds one-handed. He'd floored the Thai in the 4th prior to injuring his hand. He went the distance in his fight prior to that too, against GRJ, but he had GRJ in trouble in the dying seconds of the fight after stepping up his attacks. I think he might have got GRJ out of there had he put his foot on the gas a bit earlier. And in his fight before facing GRJ, as you say, he also had Salido in trouble in the last round.
