Ali needs to fire not only his promotional team but his management team as well for allowing his promotional team to do this to him. Ali even said it himself at one of the media day meeting at NY steakhouse that fighting Munguia sucks. He knew that the fix was in and now Golden Boy has promotional options on Munguia (who they want to make the new Saul Alvarez) by sacrificing Ali in essence last night, they lose nothing.

That was a straight cash out! Ali should have got with PBC or Eddie Hearn.

After watching that no smart boxer will want to sign with fishnets.

Hindsight is 20/20 but what legit promoter matches one of their Champions first Title defense Welterweight vs Middleweight!!

Oscar is a snake in the grass

The sad part is Munguia will Vacate the title and move to 160 Very Soon

Yeah , I hope he was compensated well. His HBO run is over too all in the same night.
Sadam is an example of a everyday real fighter. A regular guy with no connections, no one to look out for him and a basic style and vulnerable chin. He was a patsy last night.

Its funny how specific and narrow some peoples perceptions are. As if this routine of feeding fighters to one another in blatantly unfair fashion isn't the norm. Don't understand the sudden mock sympathy.

Ali should be grateful he was given the Cotto fight!!!

I don't feel sorry for him, I am happy he was relieved of his belt

    I bet you're good in a crisis...

"What do you mean you have cancer? So what hundreds of thousands of people get diagnosed every year..."

Something doesn't have to be a freak occurrence to suck mate.

Oddly enough, a mere 24 hrs ago, I can't remember anyone complaining about Ali being set up even though we all knew who the opponent was.

Golden Boy had really high hopes for Munguia, and fed one of their weaker champions they knew would lose eventually to an in house fighter, instead of seeing him drop the title to a PBC or Top Rank fighter. Good business decision by Nard and ODLH. Everybody at LMW wanted a piece of Ali, and there was a reason for that, but how many people will want a piece of Munguia? I can guarantee..... not quite as many.

Yes, exactly the same things Sugar, cancer diagnosis and a prize fighters last fight. Hope you don't run your mouth like that someday to someone who's actually experiencing the disease, because making light of something like that is a pretty ***** thing to do.

You were probably just stuck only on ESB...because I know on other parts of the internet people were saying this is a set up. You don't go from a Liam Smith type fighter to a Jaime Muguia type fighter.
