Well, to play devil's advocate, what fight makes you prepared for a fight with Lomachenko? That's kind of my thinking on it. I'm not saying it should be his next fight, but, I'm simply illustrating that I believe it could be a competitive fight and it would be a shame if we didn't get it. Remember when everyone wanted to see Gamboa vs. Juan Ma and we never got it?

I disagree. Davis will have spurts of success in some offensive explosions but they would be few and far between, be would be out of his depth very quickly, and then he would proceed to drown.

That's true indeed, I'd still like to see it myself. Just from Tank Davis' point of view waiting a year or two makes an awful lot of sense.

I believe so. I don't have the full details but I know that the disagreement is along those lines.

If Davis was 5'7 also, I'd say it's a pickem. Davis is short though. It will play out similar to how the Russell Jr. fight played out, with Lomachenko using his legs to stick and move, in and out, utilizing his size advantage over the shorter, more stationary guy.

At 5'5", he won't won't have some of the advantages that Linares enjoyed. I think Loma would make him quit late.

Based off what? Tank would absolutely destroy Mitchell and Crolla type talents. Campbell could give him fits though. Campbell is underrated af. Linares barely scraped by and was getting outboxed in the last 6. Loma beats Tank though, I see Loma fighting like he did against GRJ more than he did against Linares. Tank is a different level than Linares.
