I'm no Hughie Fury fan, but he's all wrong for Dillian Whyte. I can see why Eddie wouldn't want it. Hughie doesn't bring much to the table.

StubHub deal aside I've always thought Hearn was alright, but I agree that lately he has been taking the arrogant know-it-all act to another level. He needs to reel it in or he'll go from marmite to just universally disliked.

I think Fury would box rings round Whtye! But at the end of the day it comes down to money and Whyte just wants to get back to fighting AJ again and beating Fury for the british wont get him that...

I can't stand Dillian Whyte. Awful personality, and he is shyte. He has legions of casual fans saying he's much improved since the AJ fight (losing to shot Chisora?, labouring agains Allen & helenius?) & could potentially beat AJ in a rematch and that he would KO wilder LOL. Aghhhhhhh

I'd pick Hughie to beat Whyte easy. However, Hughie clearly ducked Whyte and a couple of others.

Well, Mr Browne was indeed smashed by Chisora in sparring leading up to the Whyte fight. It's been confirmed that Browne was badly KO'd by Chisora 10 days before the Whyte fight. It was blatantly obvious that there was merits to that rumour on fight week. Just by watching interviews with the diplomatic Don Charles, you could tell Browne was looking awful in sparring.

Martin from the New Age Boxing Podcast basically confirmed it on their podcast after the fight. Martin is good pals with Steve Goodwin who of course is the manager of Chisora, so he knew the details about the spar.

Hughie has straight up turned down offers to face Whyte twice

Now Whyte is in a title contender spot and right at the top, and I hardly rate Whyte that highly, but atleast he faces top opposition fight in and fight out.

Hughie is beating up on British level Corpses like Samantha Sexton. Why did Hughie face such a pitifully low level of opposition following the Parker nightmare (world level), when he should be building on that loss and facing atleast something at European level? Just WTF does anyone looking at going up to world level learn in their 22nd fight against that?

And Hughie wont be 23 forever, in a few years then people will not be putting up this "only a young fighter" excuses for ducking everyone at HW who has a pulse.

That worst bit was putting Dave Allen as same level as Hughie Fury. Embarrassing comment.

ive only heard the rumours but it would explain a lot. if he had been ko'd and therefore most likely concussed, then it is not only shameful but criminal that he was put in a ring ten days later.

If Haye continues a fight with Browne would be good. Both carry power, swing from hip, Both old flat footed and very slow and well psdt their best. Seems like a good match up lol.

lol Hearn is good comedy value. If he rates Whyte so highly why were his match ups before Brown (who was the definition of an Aussie punching bag) a shot to bits Helenius and some really dreadful American whose name i can't be bothered to look up.

I like Whyte but he's very much on a par with Hughie Bear at the moment.

To be fair when Whyte was matched with Browne a lot of people predicted Browne to KO him and were saying it’s his toughest test yet...

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/dillian-whyte-vs-lucas-browne.603776/

Looking through the thread I think I’m the only one who predicted Whyte KO. Everyone else was favouring Browne!

Well Hughie was the one who swerved it a while back, make of that what you will.
