They're saying/doing exactly what Arum said they would.

Until they actually get low-balled, they shouldn't say that Mikey's not gonna fight Lomachenko.

If they wanted the fight, they'd say the they'd be willing to negotiate and leave it at that.

Arum said he'd make the fight, but Mikey can't ask for stupid money. Lomachenko got 1.5 million for Linares and Linares got 1 million. Mikey, realistically, shouldn't get more than 2 million as he has not proven to be a draw himself.

We all know of Mikey's ego these days. It's not a secret.

Lance Pugmire quotes Linares’s purse as $1.2 MM. Where did you find Loma’s purse?

On the other subject. Let’s be realistic. Mikey’s not going to fight for ESPN money. He’s going to want PPV money or at least something close to that.

when youre headlining cards, purses are not based on how much you made last fight, unless you signed a contract denying you your worth.
this is a ppv fight, the best fight possible outside of maybe spence-crawford. loma is going to blow up by the time this fight rolls around, if he gets paid 2 million, its criminal.

This. It will be a mega PPV fight when it happens and both should get paid at least 5 mill a piece. 2 would definitely be criminal.

Clen got 3.5 million to fight Khan... No way Mikey or Lomachenko sees 5. Both would be lucky to get 2.5.
