    Of course they’re going to “run” as while he’s dangerous, he’s also irrelevant, pretty old, and because he’s so green professionally he would bring other, more relevant fighters, nothing.

    If he wants to jump up in competition the only way is with a big cheque.

    I never said Parker wouldn't normally beat him. I just said I didn't think he did on that night. It's not like I'm saying Hughie is the number 1, just top 10.

    Thats not a fact at all, its your opinion. I think its crazy to say he'd struggle with Miller and Brezeale in all honesty, like those two carry any big threat, or indeed even near the threat Parker posed for him.

    I wouldn't blame him steering clear of Wilder and AJ fights in 2015 and 2016. He was a green 20-21 year old boy then, and would simply have been iced, early in a career which his camp believe is destined to become a world championship one, not a whipping boy for world champions. The Parker fight they obviously felt came when he was more ready for it, and he did enough to show they were right in my opinion. He's boring, granted, but he almost won the fight, whether it was exciting or not.

    Ducking Joe Joyce though, I'm having none of that, they're looking to move towards bigger things than Joe Joyce now and the lad is only 4-0 at the end of the day. We don't know what he's capable of yet.

    I also never said it was easy, but it's simply the truth that it takes a lot less to get in there than it did in the past. The prime guy being Wilder says a lot about the era also to be fair, and not positively.

    To those who are putting Hughie Fury in their top 10.

    Which of his wins over the past 2 years put him in the top 10 at HW.

    Would it Samantha Sexton, Fred Kassi or Guinn?

    Can we look at who fighters have beaten to compile a Top 10. Also being 23 doesn’t get you any additional ranking points for “potential”. Potential is BS.

    Likewise Bellew doesn’t belong in the top 10 either. At HW he has beaten a physically broken Haye twice, who on that form isn’t even top 50 any longer.

    Let’s also not forget Bellew isn’t serious any more. He ducked all the serious contenders at CW, to engage in the cash grab fight against Haye. Usyk, Gassiev and Dorticos all beat Bellew at CW

    I tried to make one, but I got stuck after realizing Parker got a MD against Hughie, Ruiz, and almost AJ (at least in my opinion).

    I find it difficult to translate that into rankings.

    Surprised to see so many have Andy Ruiz Jr in their top 10. He's fought once since losing to Parker 17 months ago, beating a journeymen and came it at his highest weight in over 4 years, he looked dreadful. I've seen Sumo wrestlers in better shape.

    All the talk about him losing weight and getting into shape again seems to have been nothing but lies. He's Arreola all over again "I'm finally taking my career seriously, I've learned from my mistakes", shows up at 260lbs, smh.

    When Ruiz Jr steps up again he'll again get found out and get beaten again. Hughie Fury would dance circles around him, Breazeale would out work him and over power him, Miller would beat him at his own game, push him back and out work him.

    I don't know how anyone can have Takam in the top 10. He's lost to every top 10 fighter he's faced, he lost every round to Joshua, he doesn't have any good wins. Just having a solid chin isn't enough!
