Why do people praise Wilder's KO ability when it's mostly illegal?!

The Washington knock down was a perfect example. He throws the left out, pulls the guard down on Washington, and then lands a right over the top the illegally pulled down guard. Directly in front of the ref. Washington gets up, Willder begins his windmill dance until the ref stops it so he do that Alabama chicken dance that he really wanted to all along.

Wilder is a fraud and has been for years. He will fight another Haymon fighter next, Breazeale, who was knocked out easily by Joshua. He should be forced to fight Povetkin who was cleared by VADA and later proven innocent by the court......................found innocent..................yet, Wilder will not fight him...................Dustin Nichols is waiting...................

SOB Ward's knockout to Kovalev's testicles were as low as you can go! Tony Weeks had to have seen those low blows, but Kovalev is Eastern European, so is Golovkin who was cheated by Oscar's judges, so was Lomachenko who was going to be cheated by Oscar's judges, all Eastern European fighters need to be careful in America...................

I’m sure your target audience would agree…

BTW, your point about Szpillka whacking his face so hard on Wilder’s fist he ko’d himself is spectacular, truly.

Lol this thread is definitely one of the more bizarre attempts to discredit him. Every fighter bends the rules to some degree, show me a fighter that doesn't and I'll show you a fighter that isn't world class.

But Wilder does give his critics a lot of ammo. From the appalling boxing technique, to him being massively over protected, to him constantly contradicting himself in interviews, to his poor grasp of the English language, to his comical dancing, weak chin and fake persona it all adds up to one big target.

If you can't understand the rules of boxing, why even bother following the sport then?

Okay then: You are either deluded and can't even understand simple fundamentals behind punches.

Or you are biased towards the Afro-American hypejob and don't wanna see it.

like already mentioned, a lot of heavyweights (and boxers in general) use(d) illegal punches and tactics troughout their careers.
I would like for referees to actually do something about it, but it never happens.

Tyson regularly hit opponents when already down.
Ali used to hold the neck/back of the head while punching, and also was a notorious clincher after 31.
Lennox also held the neck/head while punching.
Holyfield had his infamous headbutt/lowblow combo, on which he added a kidney shot later in his career.
Wladimir had the squid move and clinching.
Bowe hit opponents when down and after the bell.
