This content is protected kugan is completely out of his depth here. ratty, ignorant, impolite, all the things you arent supposed to be as an interviewer. Patel is a brilliant guest and Kugan is too obsessed with his own ego to ask proper questions. @CutThroatFade
Kugan has always had a natural dislike for Patel because Patel bullied one of the IFL apprentices called Sonny backstage at a show. The kid he bullied was a young guy like 16, small and ginger, Kugan tore into Patel on Twitter after. The Barry Jones beef probably hasn't helped.
I'd have an uncontrollable urge to land a knee to face on Prince Patel if I were in his presence. So anything short of full on assault by someone interviewing him, I find to be wholly acceptable behavior.
It felt like Kugan got teary eyed and disgruntled several times there. Wow Prince really got under the jabroni's skin. I remember when Gonzalez started to physically lose his voice when talking of Patel. Patel has that aura of invincibility (well he's undefeated)
Mate they'd start ****ing within two minutes of the interview. Galahad, Saunders, Ingle and Brook would be like: "DON'T BRAG ABOUT TAKING OUR SIDEPIECE! THAT'S OUR SIDEPIECE! YOU DON'T GET LAID!"
I'm usually an interview obsessive much to my metal detriment but even I can't watch more than the first 7mins of this. Can anyone kindly tell me when the heated moments are?
I know exactly what you mean. I spent half an hour finding loads of great pics of The Prince's cheekbones and jaw line, then I started watching the video and only made it a couple of minutes in before I came. Always the way.
Are you being sarcastic or serious? You can't be serious. A brilliant guest? Kugan gave him another opportunity after his joke interview from 4 years ago. But after only a couple of mins, he was sighing as he knew absolutely nothing had changed. I watch all of IFL's interviews and Kugan is great. He's a great interviewer. The standout ones are any with Tyson or BJS. They're both hilarious and informative. He has a great rapport with them, as well as with many other fighters. But Patel is just a joke. Nobody can interview him. I don't know whether it's an act or whether he's serious, but it's impossible. He simply cannot be interviewed. Because he's rude, obnoxious, and he's completely obsessed with the Edwards brothers. He doesn't even answer the questions that have been asked. Kugan deserves huge credit for sticking with it to the 30th min mark. The whole interview was just cringeworthy, especially when Patel kept looking towards his sparring partner for some sort of reaction/reassurance. The incident with Barry Jones was completely inexcusable. Kugan was very honest when he said he couldn't envisage interviewing him again. You could hear how disappointed he was with him. Patel needs 3 things: 1. A psychiatrist 2. Educating 3. An absolute hammering I'm hoping for number 3.
