So you have no qualms over him dropping his belt and waiting longer to fight GGG or the fact that even in his good wins there’s always ridiculous scorecards that he never needed anyway, not saying that’s Canelos fault but I’ve never once read you critical of that A side BS,the sole reason I’ve gone off AJ is just that so you’re thing about taking risks just isn’t applicable to Canelo since every fight has nefarious judging inc Floyd fight.
GGG had his chance to be Hagler-esque the other night and prove he would "take on anyone at anytime" but he chose to fight a underweight no-name no hoper instead of taking a shelling from Derevyanchenko. End of all the GGG nuthuggery right there.
Alt? Nah, D9Garrard forced to take a new name. I wanted to see GGG do everybody in like the killer he was supposed to be. Then he fought scared and wouldn't engage Jacobs and I thought Jacobs won. Then he couldn't dent Canelo, who I think less of than others here do. Then he avoided Sergiy, who was willing to come in on short notice. Three successive disappointments.
It was their goal only when rationalizing facing undeserving mandatory challengers and for not seeking bouts with certain other fighters. It was also the route to money. But now the route to money involves not facing the equal or higher risk/lower reward bouts. So it is no longer their goal now. Logical. I and so many others wish he never gave a damn about it in the first place (which, truly, I don't feel he ever did).
Mayweather, Trout, Lara, Cotto, Golovkin.. If you think that's the easy road you're probably a grade A hater with zero credibility.
What? Please re-type this so it makes sense. As far as your last sentence and the only thing that you can read and understand the point you're trying to make. Of course you can be fans of two rivals. Ive been a huge fan of many fighters who were rivals. Oscar and Vargas Santa Cruz and Mares Lewis and Tyson Barrera and Morales
“Bull****” Lol 20 straight title defenses has the evidence in our favor that it’s not bull**** there ****. Canelo had every advantage going in and the most he could get is a gift draw.
No I don't have no qualms. I don't look at things from GGGs perspective. I look at things from a realist perspective. The reality was that the fight was always going to happen on Canelo's time not GGGs. I care more about the fighters than a corrupt ABC sanctioning organization. I'm very glad both Cotto and Canelo showed that a corrupt organization can't dictate biasly. They act like jokers they get treated like jokers. Do we really have to get into the whole dropping the belt in the garbage thing again? Its been done time and time again. We know Canelo's legal issues with his Mexican promoter, we know Canelo challenged GGG to a non-title fight at 155. We know it only took 1.3 years since winning the ring title for Canelo and GGG to make the fight official. You're acting like Canelo busted a Pacquiao Lol... Seriously. Get a grip in regards to that. I dont buy the notion that GBP pays a SINGLE judge off in Canelo's fights. That is ridiculous. If GBP was going to rig a fight they would pay two judges off. How is that even an argument? You can't win a fight with one judge, you need TWO. Come on Andy, you're smarter than this.
I just don't get how GGG fans can keep defending this guy. I still think GGG fights Canelo or an absolute no hoper in September. The more I think about it, the more it seems clear GGG and Canelo 2 is on. Both are after the money and there are just as tough if not tougher fights for far less reward out there. A 3rd installment will be due after another dull fight and controversial ending.
Sanctioning bodies are so corrupt and they have so many titles they have cheapened what it is to be a world champion. A title is great to win, only if you defend it against the best does it mean something. How many titles are there, how many are handed to fighters. Cotto became lineal, ring, and WBC by beating the MW king in a CW. He then defended his title at a CW, he then lost his MW title at a CW, the belt is then defended at a CW. TheWBC MW title was a joke.
That would hold weight if: 1. He didn't almost immediately challenge GGG to a Non-Title fight at 155 2. He didn't fight GGG a year later at 160. What I find hypocritical is how GGGoons justified GGGs unwillingness to fight Ward, Lara, or Canelo at 155 because unifying all the belts was GGGs dream and ultimate goal, BUT now that all he seems to care about is another multi million dollar payday and he's passing up opportunities with BJS, and Derevyanchenko his GGGoon patrol is now singing a completely different tune. No consitency, contradictions, hypocrisy.
