Kugan messed up in my eyes. This Guy could easily be made into a IFL Star-Reduce his interviews to 10-12 Minutes and Kugan should start having fun with him just like he does with Saunders and Whyte. Granted he's a bum-but people would tune in to see him get Sparked out
Agreed in principle but the problem is that Saunders for all his outrageous non-pc views, still knows when to reign it in for the most part. Patel on the other hand is literally always about 0.5 seconds away from a stinging, personal remark that then leads into yet more personal diatribes directed against anyone and everyone (including Cassius) and where he doesn't hold back. He also has an uncanny knack of leading the interview to where he wants to take it, which the above aside makes hims a nightmare to interview as evidenced in Kugan's comments at the end. Without a decent British fight lined up for Patel, there's only so much anyone sane can tolerate Patel's ego fuelled rants on a regular basis, profile building or not. If he gets a match-up however, then yeah it could boost IFL's views for sure.
Here's an article I wrote about Stensky in 2014: ------------------------------------------------------- My friends, today I'd like to look at the OTHER side of professional boxing: The losers. I realize this will undoubtedly turn into a thread about Deontay Wilder’s current level of opposition but regardless, I think I've found the absolute worst HW currently registered as a pro. I defy anyone to find a more dismal record. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the great MARTIN STENSKY, the very pinnacle of pugilistic preeminence : http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=342796 This guy is 2 - 34, with 33 losses by way of knock out. - And neither of the two opponents he beat has ever won a fight. There should be some kinda' belt for this achievement. Stensky sorta’ has that “Butterbean” thing going on, except without the deadly OH right. I wonder what this poor guy gets paid to walk into the ring & get beat up? But you have to admire the guy. He’s nothing if not persistent. Or maybe it’s just his job to build up the record of other fighters, a professional boxing high-dive artist. (He does seem to have speed & skills, despite being about three hundred pounds overweight, but that "performance" against Dardas was better than an Inward 4 & 1/2 somersault tucked from the 10 meter platform.) Granted, "Stenchky,” as his fans lovingly refer to him, (AKA “The Stench”) has lost a few fights, but consider: In thirty seven pro bouts, only one opponent has ever gone the distance with Martin Stensky ! Additionally, both of his wins have come by way of knockout. So in a way, the man has a 100% KO percentage! —————————————————— So please, friends, let’s all take a moment and bow our heads in great respect, for all the Martin Stensky’s of the world. Boxing may be many things to many people, but for some guys, it's just a way to pay the rent.
