    Round 1

Hubeaux is waiting on Rivas, covering up and squeezing his palms together over the Colombian's speedy jab, hoping to perfectly time it so he traps Rivas' left glove and can shoot a quick ambush combo through his exposed defenses. Hubeaux does manage to almost do just that, backing Rivas up but not touching him cleanly. Rivas is snapping the jab high and low from outside. Hubeaux loads up a big right, bending all the way forward throwing it, and Rivas is easily able to dance away from it. Hubeaux is jabbing the stomach as Rivas puts up his own high guard lazily coasting inside. Rivas scoots back and blocks as Hubeaux brings his shots up.

    10-9 Rivas

idk, might've been more than a month ago, I only became aware of the change recently but it was definitely supposed to be all one card in Toronto. Maybe tickets weren't on sale yet when they changed it. :nusenuse:

    Toronto looks busy.....

Still deciding whether we'll have the first 6 there, or the last 6.

It was originally supposed to be in Montreal, then they moved it to Toronto a month ago. I didn’t realize Russell was supposed to be on the Montreal card though so maybe they decided to just go to a different venue when Montreal fell through

This sport really does itself no favors at times.

Ah, right, that's what it was. Got scattered from Montreal to a pair of different locations (Toronto & Maryland)

    Round 2

Hubeaux is stepping in and clattering body shots up from the waist of Rivas, thumping him a few times hard on the chest. Rivas answers in kind. Seems the fight might reach a boil, and then both of them step backward to reset and lapse into a fencing duel with the jab from range. Hubeaux is forcing his way in with a stiff jab on the chin, and Rivas is snapping his own in counter, leading to some rock 'em sock 'em two-way exchanges as each sends the right hand down the pipe.

    10-9 Rivas, close

    20-18 Rivas

So as i understand it, the original main event and co-main event have been transferred to two different venues, where they're now both Main events of their own cards?

    Round 3

Hubeaux is circling and tripling a light jab up top and sometimes punctuating with a nice laser-guided cross. Rivas is using a slow-motion version of the shoulder roll, letting his biceps slope to catch the Hubeaux jab and collect it like a rain gutter into his elbows. Rivas suddenly gets a jab caught in the crook of Hubeaux's neck and lets it remain wedged there while pounding in on the ribs of Hubeaux with a powerful scooping right. Hubeaux is pushed against the ropes and Rivas starts working the drill-down right. Hubeaux circles away to safety on the outside behind a quick pecking jab up top.

    10-9 Rivas

    30-27 Rivas

    Round 4

Hubeaux is drifting in either direction in semicircles around Rivas before stopping on a dime and going the other way. Hubeaux working a nice 1-1-2 into the face. Nothing too heavy, just scoring with it. Rivas is starting to get wild, chopping from too far out with a right hand, getting hung up on the defensively raised left arm of Hubeaux and countered with short rights. Hubeaux starting to seriously outbox the pedigreed Colombian and former amateur superstar. Rivas opens up late with a series of hard incisive body shots but too little to steal the frame IMO.

    10-9 Hubeaux

    39-37 Rivas
