Well im glad its been announced. No surprise that he is fighting a no name...everyone knew it so and the big man even said he was going to fight a bum.
He has been laid of for ages, had a drug problem and was depressed, he deserves an easy tune up fight.

Surely fighting 3 dwarfs before stepping up to AJ or Wilder will work completely opposite in terms of prep? I understand one gimmy but 3 then straight into the melting pot is bad prep in my book.

How on earth will anyone gauge if the old Tyson is back fighting cardboard cutouts? Sparring is a completely different ballgame to actual 10oz gloves smashing you with all the force the opponent can give.

Love Tyson to bits but really hope he doesn’t go this bumfest path and I still think Fwank is totally wrong for his journey and his publicity.

 

Surely not, he's 5ft 11, he's 41, he is the ' Albanian Tyson ' he lost to Herbie Hide as a cruiserweight 10 years ago. Imagine if he goes the distance with Fury, in some messy slapping and holding contest. There's always a risk against an opponent this bad. At least Frank Bruno always bombed them out straight away. Fury could end up looking terrible here. Also , wasn't Fury struggling to sell out the Manchester Arena for his rematch with Waldimir before he ' retired '. Crazy opponent on every level.

 

You can't criticise Fury for fighting a bum after being out for several years.

It's beyond petty and I'm not even a big supporter of Fury.

 

Fury just recently said he wouldn't fight Bellew cos he would be in danger of seriously hurting him, or words to that effect. Then announces he's fighting an unknown bum, who's most dangerous opponent to date is Manuel Charr, who beat him. Fury is a walking contradiction.
