Gvozdyk is WBC no. 1 mandatory and an immediate rematch wont be possible. WBC mandated the winner of the fight to fight Gvozdyk next. I have Gvozdyk easily beating Jack and Stevenson.
Gvozdyk has the skill and power to knock Adonis out, but he does tend to get sloppy and leave himself open. Adonis might be old, but if Gvozdyk get ms lazy with his defense I could see Gvozdyk getting stopped.
Gvozdyk will KO him, no need to worry. Oleksandr will play it hyper safe for the first 6 like Jack, then go to work in the 7th, and KO him in 8.
Mate, Eldier Alvarez was Cickensons mandatory since the mid 90s until taking the Kovalev fight and Chickenson never had to fight him. Al Haymon will make sure he avoids him with a load of brown evenlopes to the WBC like he's doing to stop Whyte getting a shot at Wilder
Yeah, against Tommy Karpency and Mehdi Amar, guys not known for their high KO ratio, like GGG who goes offense first when facing feather fists, Gvozdyk gets a little irresponsible, but trust me, Oleksandr isn't stupid enough to not adequately prepare for Adonis or to take him lightly. Like with Yunieski, he knew his money punch was the overhand right, and Gvozdyk made damn sure YG missed him by a mile with it the entire fight.
Not impossible, but Gvozdyk is really good technically and should be able to win enough rounds clearly to avoid getting done on the cards. After last night I strongly favour Gvozdyk to beat Stevenson should that fight happen.
Don't worry MVC, Jack will get his shot after Gvozdyk KO's the Pimp, then watch, Jack will be the one ducking.
Jack ducks no man! He should duck the judges though, maybe they think Jack had something going on with their mothers to keep robbing him without a gun. Christ.
I’m as much of Jack fan as anyone but it was a fair draw, Jack gave away too many rounds in the beginning.
