Scheduled for June 29 in Canada (location tba). Interesting matchup. Pascal is a very good boxer, fought for several world titles in his career. He has a great resume with Kovalev 2x, Alvarez, Hopkins 2x, Bute, Hopkins 2x, Froch, Dawson AND even scored a win over Boone who KTFO Stevenson. I watched his last fight vs Elbiali and he looked great there. Absolutely dominated Elbiali and won all rounds till the stoppage. Elbiali was supposed to be a good prospect but was completly overwhelmed with the quality of his opponent. Steve Bosse is having his second pro fight here after he made his debut earlier this year vs Cuellar Cabrera. KO2 was the result. Bosse is a former UFC fighter, had three fights there in 2015 and 2016. His overall pro MMA record is 12(9)-2(2). He also played hockey from 2003-2009. Interesting is that the fight will be @ cruiserweight Bosse fought his last three UFC fights @ middleweight and light heavyweight. His pro debut in boxing couple of months ago @ heavyweight (224 lb). Pascal stepping up in weight class from light heavyweight to cruiserweight. I don't know what i should think about the fight. It's a strange one imo, also very strange that there is no venue/location announced yet.
I have a bad feeling about this one, it might be some sketchy Ola Afolabi-Mario Dasar level bull****.
This is one of the weirdest matchups i have seen for a while tbh. A guy who fought for several world titles in the past, looked really good in his last fight but has some age now fighting a guy even older who fought MMA and played hockey with one pro fight under his belt in a weight class both never fought before.
Weird fight...Most of us here in Quebec don't have a clue why it got made...Only reason I see is big payday for both as they are both still really popular here.
