This would have been a great fight 5 years ago.

 

If he does lose, I couldn't fault any Pacfan for claiming this. Personally I think he's probably financially drowning. Not sure I want to see this fight today.

 

It's well known that he's going to be making a run for the presidency. Pacquiao's not financially drowning as he recently declared that his net worth is currently 65 million (billionaire in the PHI) . He's one of the richest people in the country. He's just padding his war chest.

 

The main reason Lucas has a shot is because Buboy is training Pac. This is a stupid move by Pac, Buboy has no experience.

 

Glad to hear he's okay financially.
But I still agree that his heart isn't totally in the fight game be it due to financially drowning or bleeding his fans dry to pad his war chest to run for office.

 

Better now than never imo... I think Lucas will do very good and have his big moments, but I think pac, while still fast with his shots, will be too fast and too Sharp with his punches against a guy like mathysse who Pac will have no problem connecting on.

TKOing Lucas will be very impressive. Postol didn't really stop Lucas. Lucas quit because he feared for his vision, not because he was in too much pain to continue.

I think Pac's speed will cause Matthysse problems, but Matthysse has been hitting much harder than ever, been training for a long time, if he lands one hard punch, he could knock Pac out. Matthysse has been training in the US, new trainer, better fighter than his last fight, by far, so he will be very dangerous. Matthysse knocked Peterson out in the 3rd round! Pac's speed should win him the fight with some very scary moments..................almost a 50/50 fight, Matthysse would knock Horn out cold as Hell! Pac easily beat Horn, but still, Horn is an amateur off the kangaroo farm, can't fight at all, Matthysse would knock Horn out.................so..............real danger in that fight, I think Pac will edge the fight out, but you have to give Matthysse a good chance.................
