Been dreading this moment for years but it looks like David Deron Haye is going to formally retire

A true ****ing legend and icon in the sport of boxing, went out like a warrior, a true fighting man in both fights against Bellew.

Joyce would run through burger boy Miller like a freight train.

joyce has absolutely no defense, no one shot power. sounds like a clone of miller, except in better shape. the fight would come down to who has the better chin. neither one is doing any better than getting slaughtered by a titlest long term.

Ok let's stop talking about bum city Miller and Joyce. Joyce has years left in the game. This thread ought to be for true boxing fans to post tributes to David Haye, an ATG Cruiserweight, a two-weight world champion and future Hall of Famer.

pretty sad if winning two title fights (one against a glass jawed bum) makes you an atg cw.

I only caught Haye vs. Bellew I from round 5 onward, and have seen none of the rematch (not even highlights)

...worth bothering? Unless it was more entertaining than March of last year, don't lie to me and say yes. :sisi1

Was never a damn fan borderline hated him but when he snuck one in on Chisora I loved it. Made me a fan, you just can’t be walking up on me like you know me

This was an intelligent display of the contrast between Haye's pronouncements vs his performance.

Haye was completely shot to ****. I found it uncomfortable viewing as a Haye fan but I guess the KD punches from Bellew were quality shots so it's worth watching for that alone. Haye totally went out on his shield like a warrior. Have a watch and report back and let us know what you think about the stoppage. I agreed with it but some argued it was premature.

Haye's claim to fame is ending up on his knees with his face in Wlad's croch. Surprised the memers didn't have more fun with that one.

Retired by Tony Bellew. Can haye live with such ignominy?

Never liked him....tried to draw point deductions on klitschko the whole fight, indulging chisora in a brawl, making lame excuses for not showing up in a fight(pegleg haye), wasting his money in middle east pyramid schemes and cheating on his wife give him all the marking of being a complete knob

With that being said, he's still one of Britain's best ever.... He won a silver in the world amateurs(something no heavyweight Englishman had done), unified the cruiser belts and won a piece of the heavyweight crown from vauelev then proved he belonged in the division by finishing Ruiz in under 5 rounds iirc
although even as a huge Klitschko mark I can't say he's a ATG(regardless of what it would add to wlad's resume arguments) because....well he never proved it either division

I wouldn't even rank him as a top ten cruiser of the decade he fought in it(2000-2010)
    *Beat Mormeck for unified belts
*Blew out Enzo and gave him his first loss
    *Knocked out fragomeni

    At heavy he beat
    *Valuev
    *Ruiz
    *Chisora
