Well it appears Wilder has no choice....

I hope he has a passport.

hell, both could easily get ko'd in the meantime while they are posturing. neither is very good.

And again, the point remains the same....

Joshua getting KO'd is just as bad for Wilder as if he gets KO'd himself.

Why is Wilder in the sport?

Because right now he has 0 impressive legacy wins, and his earnings compared to past US HW champs are trivial.

Can you not see the irony of how weak his position is?

He can't even get the fight with $50 million.

The fight will happen, but it will happen on AJ's terms, no one elses. He's earned that right, Wilder's earned NOTHING!

And when Eddie Hearn tells you to jump, then Wilder better ask "how high and how far Mr Eddie?".

Eddie Hearn and AJ call the shots in the HW division, and you lot better get used to that, and they'll make the fight happen when THEY'RE ready, they're the multi-millionaires here holding all the cards and all the belts, Wilder aint, because he's fought road sweepers and window cleaners, so let's leave the promotion of this fight up to the professionals, that's Matchroom, because you leave it up to Wilder's team to do it and goodness knows what kind of shambolic event he'll put up. If there was as much as a pyrotechnic going off at the wrong millisecond it could put everything that Matchroom have built up in jeopardy.

Eddie Hearn and AJ know how to run these mega events, so until Wilder fights in front of more than a couple of hundred people in some sport's hall in Alabama, you are all going to have to sing to the Matchroom tune.

why on earth do you think i give a damn about wilder? both guys are wanting in resume. they need each other desperately for legacy. before one or both are shattered by a cherry pick gone wrong.

Not entirely accurate to suggest both are wanting in resume though is it?

Sure beating a 40 year old ATG doesn't result in immediate ATG status yourself....but it's a damn sight better than beating a 40 year old who's never been close to a World Title.

I wonder how many heavyweight's have held all but one belt after 21 fights?

well, you are obviously heavily invested into aj, while i couldn
t give a damn less about wilder. the thread about he and his brother becoming the new klitschko's was hilarious.

I'm invested into AJ as he's carrying the weight of the HW division on his shoulders.

Where would the sport be without him?

Wilder v Breazeale would be fight of the decade.....

joshua fought breazeale. if joshua doesn't fight wilder next, it needs to be povetkin. time on that clock is ticking, yet he is still better than all but one on joshua and fury's resume and everyone on wilders.

So what...like really what does any of this matter? The bottom line is the money is there, the demand is clear, yet AJ and/or Hearn don’t want the fight. It’s irrelavent how many people know either one, who they’ve fought, or where they are from. Those things matter when trying to gather the money, the money isn’t a problem, so all the talk of being known and whatever goes out the window when the money is available.

So “fvck Wilder” because his team offered a $50 million guarantee? Be “careful” of what, trying to make the fight? Read what you’re saying, I’m not attacking I just don’t understand what you’re trying to say?

I'm saying that Wilder isn't in a position to call the shots.

For a whole host of reasons.
